I'm your host, Jason Davis, and we are here at my favorite time of year. So we're gonna talk H H N with Micah, Terry, and Rachel. Exciting. I'm just gonna be silent the entire time. It's your episode. It's my favorite time of the year. And they're like, Please kill us now. It it's your favorite. We're letting you bask in your favorite time of the year. It is. I think it would be remiss though if we don't mention like the big thing that's happened this week because it it is big in pop culture with the passing of like Dolly Parton and ⁓ Tim Curry and today of the recording was Pete Coleman who is the voice of Optimus Prime. And Eeyore. Yeah and Eeyore. I forgot and Voltron and he was he was a bunch of stuff but he's really known for for Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime. I know I saw that. Like so sad. So like I mean we've always like We've kinda joked off recording about going to Dollywood and stuff like that. So that's that's theme park related, but at the same time, Travis got all those ⁓ imagination library books for the his five first five years. So she was really just outside of music. She was just a good person. Yeah. I hated her music though. The what? You're not a true southerner. The fun fact I learned this week was that at one point Jeff Bezos gave her a hundred million dollars and she gave away all of it to her own philanthropic things. Like they were talking about how with everything she's done, she could be a billionaire. But because she's given away so much, she's not. Like obviously she's still very wealthy. But you know, you look at all these other people that are billionaires and you're like, So why aren't they? Also, you know, obviously she still lived a very lavish life, didn't need for anything, and but she chose to give most of it away. So I just thought I was like I'd be a whole it'd be hard for someone like me who's never known, you know, ⁓ hundred millionaire status to get a hundred million dollars and be like not keep any of it. I'd like, Can I just peel off a couple of million? Yeah. For myself. But no, that Dolly's I've always loved Dolly Parton. She's just sweet and real, you know, she's always said it's take takes a lot of money to look that trashy and You know, she's never been ashamed of where she came from or back down. So never heard a negative story about her, like interactions with people. ⁓ I actually had a aunt or have an aunt who like early nineties, late eighties, she was in a contest at Dollywood and actually won the contest, a singing contest, and like personally met Dolly Parton and was just saying that she was one of the kindest, nicest people. And the fact that like it was her like theme park. And my aunt was there doing it. Like she was there and like handed my aunt the award instead of it being like someone else who could have done that. And just how just kind and genuine of a person she really was. When it came to people in theme parks, it's like Dolly was Walt. Mm-hmm. She was constantly in her comparison. Like she she tried to make an appearance at least once or twice a year and do these things. And ⁓ just a couple of weeks ago they did the media for their new ride. I can't remember the name of of it off the top of my head, but She recorded a video saying like, you know, because of medical issues, the doctor said I couldn't be there. I wish I was. Yeah. So that was like her last recorded message or something. But yeah. That's that's a hard hitting one. And then like I said, she she transcends anything because my f one of my favorite bands is Demon Hunter. And their bassist or guitarist, I can't remember which one, is a photographer on the side or is his main job. And he went and photoc did some photography for Dolly in her house and her headquarters and They posted a video about it and like how great of a woman she was. And it's like that's heavy metal coming into Dolly. So, yeah, that's that's that's a hard one for a lot of us. Tim Curry, you he was in ⁓ Muppet Treasure Island and then Home Alone Two. A lot of the Rocky Hormo ⁓ picture and Pennywise. So bas they said that he died actually the same day that Dolly did. I don't know if you heard this, but they just didn't want to release it so let Dolly have her day. So I'm I'm curious of what they'll do at Universal for Peter tonight. Maybe they'll do something. You they did something for Stan over Stanley over at Spider Man when he passed. They'd always do something for the Harry Potter people in ⁓ Hogwarts. They'll do the wands up. I'm curious if they'll just do something for for Optimus since he's standing on top of the the attraction. Right, yeah. So yeah, I'm not happy to know. Let's talk about some H H N, some Halloween horror nights. Full disclosure, I've been watching some of the stuff that's been going on. They've had team member previews Monday and Tuesday. Today is the premium scream night. Tomorrow's the first official night. So we're gonna believe you're not there. It's weird. I didn't go last year either. We recorded the episode last year, the same thing. I was I was waiting for y'all to go. Y'all that was the first night. So I'm going the Sunday before we do the VIP tour in September with the agents. And then A week or two later is when Micah, Terry, and Beth and myself go. So a little late. You guys got express pass? We were talking about it. We don't we have not made the full decision yet. I was like, I'm just eating food. Do I really need an express pass? She that's why I was like, if she's not gonna if she's just gonna be like eating the food and not going through any of the houses, then if we have express pass and she's not away from us as much if that makes sense. Like she doesn't have to stand in the long line and then use the chicken exit at the end 'cause who wants to just stand in those long lines. Right. But I I didn't know if like she wanted to do stranger things or something like that where she would have to wait in line and we'd wait in the And obviously Beth said she's gonna eat with me, but she's also gonna go through lines with you guys as well. Right. She's gonna do she might do some some of us pass. Yeah. So you know that's That's still in works on how everything's gonna work. I'm getting it for sure the week the weekend that I go. So that I guess it just depends on pricing for the weekend where you was gonna say if you're gonna do every house. I mean, like I said last year, we've talked about this I mean, how long was the Jason line last year when we were there? Like it was like hours long. If we didn't have it last year, you you wouldn't have gotten every house. That was my th my thought was like do a do express pass this trip like that first trip so I can do all the houses. And that way, if we didn't get expressed, that I could point the direction of these were good houses so so good. So we can spend time eating and then we can spend time in in the lines waiting if we needed to. Let me talk about how we're gonna do this tonight. So first part is we're just gonna talk about the food that's been released that they released the menus a couple of weeks ago. So we're gonna go through those, what we wanna try and what we kn ⁓ find interesting, what looks disgusting. And then the second half of the show is gonna be us doing our hype list like we did last year. Only difference is this year, like we were just talking about, Rachel's not gonna be with us. Terry's probably not gonna go through a lot of the houses. So What houses does she find interesting and what she were going? Yeah. And Terry would would pretty much be the same. Was if she was so much inclined to go into some like what house is her top house that she wants to go through versus, you know, which ones she doesn't have any care to try to go through while we're there. So let's get started with food. ⁓ we're just gonna go I got some pictures from some of the booths. So we'll start at the funny fair. I don't know exactly where these places are, but funny fair I can tell you it's in downtown Clowntown. They have the twisty fill twisted filly and the fried PB and J bites. Totally do the fried PB and J Bite. Fried P B and J. I don't know that's although I kind of made a list and I think there I said I would try the twisted Philly because I like the ⁓ I think at the Stranger Things house there were also PB and jelly bites and that was actually on my list first before the other one. So I was like, ⁓ if I'm already eating peanut butter and jelly. I wish so either either one of those sounds good to me. I don't think either one of those sounds disgusting. The fr I'm not a jelly person, so that's my thing. But ⁓ they look more like f donuts than anything. They do. But the jelly's on the side. It's a dip. It is it is interesting to say that they have like three drinks they've made just for this as usual, but the canned carnival sour out. L, the Manic Mix and the Oddfellow Elixir, those are gonna be your your staple drinks for HHN this year. That are gonna be at the end. And the Phantom Punch is the other one too. Phantom Punch. But those those those first three are going to be at every food booth and bar, just because that's like what's there. It's not them to that specific. Yeah. They're the ones that come with like the souvenir cups. No, those are damn drinks, right? They might be Phantom Punch. And all that's the Phantom Punch is is gonna be in a souvenir cup. Yeah. Which used to be a blinky cup and now it's just a l regular H H N cup that's not really them. I just wish they would make a drink that's a signature drink that didn't have like fourteen ingredients in it. That you might have once drink at a college party that someone mixed up in like a bathtub. You know, like Like just the jungle juice. That's exactly it's like jungle juice. It sits there. There's how many ingredients in it? I get what exactly what Terry's saying. Like I don't find any of that appetizing, appealing. It probably tastes way too sweet or way too strong. Well, the big the biggest thing you gotta remember is that these mixed drinks they have are just in a slushy machine back there being you know. I think they're a batch made. Yeah, so you I would rather them make a simpler drink and put like a scary blinky light. Charge the same amount, put a blinky light or something in there to make it H or like make it lime green with coloring or something and put ten different juices in there to make the colors. And you at some of these bars, like we didn't get to go to a lot of the bar bars. We went to like the one right outside of ⁓ Nightmare Fuel. So it's had those drinks, but they didn't have mixed drinks. But if you go to the bar at ⁓ Lombards, I can't remember the thing this year for it. I think it has to do with Jaws maybe. Probably not. But that that's a full bar. So you can have you can ask for a drink and they'll mix it for you. The one by mow that's a mixed bar. I just wish that their signature drinks were s simpler. I was reading them out to my ⁓ son and like the I think it's a Phantom Punch, it has like two different vodkas. I was just reading out the list. He's like two vodkas and one drink. So Phantom Punch is a new ⁓ It's new Amsterdam vodka, three sixty vodka, spirito lemon. Triple sec. Yeah, triple sec. Orange and cranberry juices, dragon fruit syrup and simple syrup. Like that just sounds way, way too much. Yeah. Like then there's the caramel apple splash punch that's a I would do that without the caramel syrup. That's pretty basic. Yeah. You got rum, apple, and then you got lemonade. Yeah. Like that probably tastes good. But I don't like caramel, so like caramel would put it too sweet. Yeah, it would make it really sweet. Going back to the the signature can drinks they have this year, if you look at the picture, ⁓ you may be able to make it out, but there's dates, the admission ticket. Each of those dates is the day that that icon made its appearan made their appearance in the park for the first time. I get what you're saying. I see it. Sour ale and it has like the yeah. Like you could see the ⁓ Was it the maniac mix? Yeah. ⁓ there it is. It's so hard to read. It is. But Yeah, what's it? No So is that what the cans are also gonna look like or I I was looking to see what was because the event started already for the night and I haven't seen anything come through yet of what's going on. When all is fails, they high noon, which are always good. Yeah, and and you'll have all the your Nicolo ⁓ modello And they have freak show wine. Which is a it's a real type of wine and it's not terrible wine. So if you're a wine drinker out there it's you know the the brand is called Freak Show. ⁓ let's move on to the bloody barbecue specials. This is located at the Lagoon Bridge. We have the Bloody Bones, which is smoked and charred barbecue ribs with ⁓ jalapeno bits. And then the torn to shreds pork sandwich, which is a smoked and shredded pork shoulder, jalapeno slaw and pretzel. I would take the jalapeno off. Yeah. I'd be okay. ⁓ I would take a bite of the building. Yeah, I'm not excited about it. I'm not gonna eat the whole thing because like H H N food is is good, but at the same time it's all hot. Like I don't want Yeah, the ribs are heavy. So like we I would if Terry had gotten the the ribs or something like that, I would take a bite of ⁓ You know? Yeah. Taste ⁓ But not I think I want a rack of ribs right now. Right. And I like the fact it's like four ribs. I mean, which is still a lot, but That against the whole pork barbecue sandwich. And if you're like Micah and I, you're from the land of pork barbecue, so yeah. I don't ever get it anywhere because it's everywhere here. So, you know Well and that and And there but it sits so heavy. So one pork barbecue sandwich will put you down for the night. I mean, it's just it's a lot. Yeah, 'cause it's bread, the slal, the pork barbecue. I mean it's a pretzel bun, which I feel are more dense anyway. Yeah. Yeah. I said it does not look appealing. Like it looks heavy. Yeah. Yeah. You almost wish for these foods they would show they would serve like sliders. You know, like a small version. Yeah. Like a slider for the pork barbecue sandwich and then like two little rib bones with the meat in between for the ribs. So you could just With the RAP tours, that's usually what it is. They're little samples of what's out on the booth. So if you go through that the lum I can't labombas, they might have a little slider version of this or one rib, stuff like that. So you can go in and just try this food. 'Cause you don't have time during an RAP to stop and eat and buy food. So try and make it a little bit more palatable so that when you're paying that much money for an RAP you get f some free food. Yeah. Yeah, I just I don't get barbecue at this event. Like it's the chicken tenders and stuff like that, it it makes sense 'cause it's fast. You can grab it and as you're walking through a scare zone, but eating ribs walking through a scare zone or even a barbecue sandwich, it's gonna fall apart. Yeah. Yeah. You've got to stop and all over you. Yeah, for this event is very much a get your food and start walking to the next house or eat in line at dark and I just feel like it's so much harder to eat. messy food thing 'cause you can't see where it's going, so it might be all over your face. It might be all over your hands and clothes and you can't see it. And it's just like I don't know the same way about turkey legs in theme parks. Why are people peering around? There's giantly a trade necklace you're gonna have to use the light up and like I don't need to bring out the wet wipes. Like it just ain't Well you don't have to. It's so it's so hot and humid that you just use your own sweat to that's gonna smell great. I mean it already smells better. People had a barbecue sweats walking through these haunted houses. Might smell smell better than some of those houses can be. All that mixed together. We're gonna move over to tonight's lineup. ⁓ if I remember right, this is the Stranger Things house. It looks like it is at least too. Yes, that's the one that's got the Steve's peanut butter bites. So that's the one that's yeah, I would do those. Those are ⁓ sm what smuggled chocolate covered peanut butter snacks. Yeah, so that's like a Reese's. I would do that. Yeah. L'attery jerky? When did they start calling an eleven L? Like I never watched the show. They pretty pretty close into it. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. That's creamy mac and cheese with garlic bread and battered jerky pieces. Battery. That's where that's where your sounds spicy. Like that's That's where your pork barbecue should be. Yeah. You shouldn't have a pork barbecue sandwich. Your pork barbecue should be on your mac and cheese. Yeah. Like where's the garlic bread? It's in it, maybe, or like maybe it's sitting down inside that thing. I think it was like the cone that epic has like an epic. That would be really good. That's what I thought that was. Yeah. That's so good. Also, the upside down chicken and waffles. Like, what do you mean cheese and potato waffles? Like chicken and waffles supposed be like sweet and savory, and there's nothing sweet on this. It's all savory. It's a savory one. Yeah. But it's not the sriracha aioli. So that's like you said, that's gonna be spicy too. And I would drink that Hopper's recharge. So the three sixty vodka, mandarin orange, yuzu juice, power power aid lemon and lime, and monster energy. I would probably need that around ten PM to keep going. Take out the Power Aid and I would drink it. I would drink You gotta say hydrated, Terry. Yeah, the Power Aid's meant for electrolytes. I will preface this with thinking I'm not a juice drinker. I didn't drink Kool-Aid as a kid. I don't drink I'll drink orange juice or apple juice, maybe. You make fun of me for not liking dolly and not being real southern, but if you didn't drink Kool-Aid growing up, then without measuring the sugar, you just You know what I probably don't like Kool-Aid didn't grow up. My mom Kool Aid stained everything, so she wouldn't give us Kool Aid. She was like she would give us sweet tea or soda before she would give us Kool Aid. She was like, It's not coming to my house gets gonna your clothes, it's gonna stain if it gets so we never had Kool-Aid growing up. We had it. ⁓ wow I don't like it. Okay. I have like four beverages in a row, like four bars in a row. So we're gonna go to s it just says food. But it's ⁓ based based off Pinhead, the Hellraiser series. Pinhead skin and meatballs, Pinhead skin and meatballs, which is torn pastas, spicy pork and beef chunks and marinara. The skin and chips nachos with creepy Crispy pork rind served with tostinos, cheese sauce, and jack lynx pepper jerky. And then the pleasure and print. That's spicy. The pepper, I think it's like black pepper on it, isn't it? The pepper jerky. I think it would say red pepper if it was the red pepper jerky. Robert, this this all of jerky on it. Like I didn't like the jerk because jerky's hard to chew sometimes. So I feel like you're gonna be like Yeah. I think I would do Pinhead Skin. And meatballs? Why? You just want spaghetti and meatballs? Another hot coffee. But it's spicy pork. Once again, it wouldn't be like I would eat the whole thing. It's one of those like, hey, I got this, let's try it. I mean, maybe three on it, three on like toothpicks. Like where they put a piece of pasta and then the meatball and put like three on it with a little plate and be like, there you go. The pleasure and pain drain though, that looks disgusting. That looks disgusting. I think that's gonna be I think that one's gonna be like your toothpaste one. So what what'd you say? Like pleasure and pain brain. Yeah. Like I think that's gonna be like the blue. I don't think it's gonna be that bad. Custard. What's the ripped teeth supposed to be? The skins, the vanilla cake pieces, and then strawberry sauce is blood. I guess they're supposed to be part of the the I wonder if they're just white chocolate. Probably they might just wet chocolate. Yeah. It's gross though. I don't want I wouldn't want to look at it and eat it. Yeah. Well, it's dark, so you don't have to look at it, you just eat it. No. No, that's Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. What bothers you? Is that like they're charging twelve dollars for this pasta and meatball thing, and you know that probably costs twenty five cents to make. Like I think it's lazy. Like you're literally gonna put a meatball in a torn pasta. Like you're lazy. Yeah. They they probably cook it as a lasagna. Right. And then they just cut it. Yeah, we're skewer it with a meatball. Mm-hmm. Yeah, it just seems it just seems lazy. The next food is the walking tacos. That's over there just by ⁓ La Bomba's off the side. They've had in the past few years. It's disappointing that A, we talked earlier, they're lazy. And B, a Dia de los Muertos place should have Mexican food is so easy and so good to do. And it's like like Rachel just said, they're just being lazy. Like there's so many good things they could have done besides a freaking walking taco. I mean, I can understand they had one like the vegan option if there's nothing else really vegan there and that's an easy vegan thing for them to do. But the regular one, it's like, come on. Like again, it's fifteen dollars. It is ⁓ bag of Fritos. I don't like if it was Doritos, but not I don't like Fritos. I don't like Fritos. I like the Doritos version. But ⁓ I do think this is a good option for peop for like I said, if you're walking and eating. So this is Easy easily contained. Yeah, it might make a little bit of a mess, but it's better than ribs or pork sandwich. Yeah. Yeah. That's one of the things I get pissed with my kids wanted. I'd pay fifteen dollars for a walk in taco. I'd be like, man, I don't know you're gonna eat it, but come on. It is expensive for what it is. Right? The Barkside Fair. Okay. I can't this is over there by Fortnite. I will do the elote with the cohes. Like I love elote. ⁓ It's ⁓ do you have the fried grilled corn on the on the hus with a choice of I don't know how to say half that's the Jose cheese. I just don't know. And then there's the fried dough choice of garlic, parmesan, or powdered See I would do those. Give me the garlic parmesan fried dough. I would eat that. I would do the fried dough. And the corn's easy to hold while you walk. It's just you need to have either flossers or cute or ⁓ toothpicks because it's gonna be all stuck in your teeth. Something that I don't think is in here, and if I do, we'll get back, we'll say it again. But ⁓ the big one of the big things they always had, besides like my favorite thing to get is pizza fries, and that's always gonna be a staple. But they had the twisted taters on the skin. Yes. They got rid of the newer this year. Yeah, they're just they are somewhere along the way. Hold on. They're the devilish delights. Okay. Yeah. So Cafe La Bamba, tonight's big hits, Annie's juke. Joint catfish and grits. Catfish. Why are we doing catfish in Orlando? It's hot. It's like and if it's in like a little booth thing, like it's probably like smell. Like, why are we doing this? So naturally crispy cr ⁓ catfish with low country grits, cur crunchy grill ⁓ garlic and a side of Tabasco. ⁓ I'm just gonna say this, and this is gross, but I don't care. H's in the bathrooms this year are going to smell absolutely horrible. Like there's no way these bathrooms smell good. It's all the heavy voodoo. Yeah, it's just I don't know. I I think I wanna try the egg rolls though. I do like a good egg roll. Yeah. But if they're getting like inspiration from Louisiana or New Orleans, I mean you've got jambalaya, you've got gumbo, you've got so many things that are better than So ⁓ Huh? The Mardi Gras. That's what they do for Mardi Gras. So can't be No, they just have all the different types of food. They do the the crawfish bowls and everything. Or a shrimp po'boy if you're gonna do something like that. But catfish and just I agree. I mean I think That's disgusting. What they're getting at for this year is like, hey, we're opening this event up for a stay and scream at two PM. So somebody's gonna need something to s actually be food. So maybe they're taking that angle. I know, but they could also just eat the regular food in the park at that point. Or they could have something that's not catfish. Like we just named a ch ton of things. We they could have beignets at this place, you know? But ⁓ like I said, beignets, the jumbo ⁓ the gumbo, all that stuff, that's what they serve for Mardi Gras. The the fans, you know, you'd get mad at Disney if you have the same thing at food and wine that you have at ⁓ Flower and Garden. So you get Well if you're regular, but if you're of these people that doesn't go all the time, you don't get the Mardi Gras food unless you go for Mardi Gras. So once again, if you're at Disney, you don't eat the same thing. If you don't go to Flower and Garden, you don't you know, and you only go to food and wine, you maybe you want the f ⁓ flower and garden food. Yeah. So like you don't you want the they want their seasons to be very deliberate. So they don't want them to cross. And I get that. And I also agree with you. Like, you can put something a little bit lighter in these places. At least in Australia. Shrimp and grits. The catfishing grits. I feel like somebody's got a real big deal in catfish. They're they were running a sale. Like we could actually send you this really good thing for catfish. We got this whole pallet of frozen catfish that we will sell you. The last thing on this menu is the pecan whiskey and Whiskey bread pudding, one bread pudding with pecan and whiskey caramel sauce. I am not of a pecan fan or bread pudding, so I'll skip that. I would eat it. That sounds my husband would eat this. He loves bread he loves bread pudding. And it's got the pecan and whiskey sauce. He would love that. Like being someone who's a very picky eater and like doesn't like vegetables, for some reason I can eat egg rolls from certain Chinese restaurants. Some egg rolls are disgusting. Some are really We're gonna get these egg rolls, by the way, Micah. Okay, well, there's two. You can have one and I can have one. We're gonna get it. Or we can have they're very big. It's just more barbecue. Well, I mean, but it has cabbage in it. Maybe it's got some other flavors. I don't know. I'm willing to try it though. Those are really good. And we're moving on. ⁓ menu and manifest is our next one. This is at ⁓ Grammarcy Park. So we have the carnival. Smashed tacos. I have never heard of a smashed taco, but it looks like a pizza. A smashed cheeseburger, taco, American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles, and secret sauce, tomatoes, sesame. ⁓ the sneaker sauce, probably barbecue sauce. It's on a tostada. Yeah. That's yeah. Yeah. I would try it, but it wouldn't it's not like I have to. The Deathbringer ⁓ tempura shrimp, which is a crispy shrimp tempura roll ⁓ with sriracha mayo and eel sauce. I would try that Tapiro shrimp in a restaurant. I'm not eating seafood in a theme park. Number one. Right. Yes. Number two, that burnt sando looks delicious. Yeah, I would try that. Yeah. Pastry cream, the burnt sugar. I love my favorite dessert. Love it. Not mine. No, I wouldn't. Just next door to it is the Devilish Delights. It's fried pickles and this is where the twisted tater chips are. Like I said, the twisted taters used to be on a big s ⁓ whatever steak. And now they've taken ⁓ off and it's ⁓ that's skewer. I do get both of these things, potatoes. I would do the fried pickles if we could put this the spicy sriracha on the side. I would do them if they were chips. I don't like when they fry spears. I don't either. I like the chips much better for fried pickles. Yeah. It could be soggy. Yeah, that's probably Yeah. Speaking of soggy, we also have the eat eats and treats with the death by cheese stick. That can probably get soggy or or really That's definitely gonna be eaten too, by the way. If you don't know what a death by cheese stick is, it's just a really, really big cheese stick. Isn't it a foot long mozzarella stick? I think it's a foot long, if not like at least six feet. That to me, like sounds great. I love a good When I was reading them out to them, they like, ⁓ the cheese pull? Yeah, mom, you gotta get that one. Like that was the one they were most excited about. Absolutely. Then they also have the jack jack and odd dog, the Nathan's all beef foot long hot dog with peppers, onions, tostitos, tostinos, cheese sauce topped with flamin' hot Cheetos and an odd odd fellow bun, which is a black Ube. It's an Ube bun. Yeah. Okay. I I'm not y'all know that I do not do these That's too much food. A foot long Nathan's hot dog is huge. And then all the stuff like Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Can we like take things off? Can I get a jack and odd dog but in a white bun with ketchup and mustard only on it? I think I think they learned their lesson from a few years ago with the toothpaste ⁓ corn dog they had. Like w we don't see that random gross food in here anymore. No, there's not really anything that you're like, ew, that's gonna be like Wait, where's the pizza? We're missing the pizza one. We hadn't gone to the pizza fries. No, the pizza like there's in the Weiji there's a pizza with pasta on it. I can't remember. Wait, I don't know I don't have a picture of it. I didn't put it in there. I'm trying to find it's It's early in the text messages. Texas messages. The regatoni ritual pie. The official pictures are a little bit better looking too. Yeah, there's the Prince of Darkness cake that we didn't talk about. The lasagna burn, which looks like a ⁓ a bow bun. They're bringing Iberia pizza fries. Which I just like with regular pizza fries. The meat grinder red velvet. Yeah, and then Yeah. And then you have ⁓ the cannoli chips too there. Yeah. I just a pumpkin pie filling. I really think that meat grinder vel red velvet looks interesting. I do like red velvet as long as it has a good cream cheese icing on it. If you like red velvet cream cheese balls that they put in there. I'm just not a fan of the cream cheese, but Like if you're like Micah, but I was gonna say it's it's like everything is spicy. So if you are like Micah and you can't have spicy, it really, really limits what you c I think they just equate spicy with scary. Well then you're gonna go have to have some ice cream afterwards so that when it comes out it's not But like it makes me sad 'cause I wish I could eat spicy. Like it just makes me sick. Yeah. So like I can't and I miss eating spicy. Like That garlic a like the sriracha aioles like the spicy mayo aioli type things. Like I just would love to have those things. But like when we were out at Disneyland and I dipped some fries in like a s slightly spicy sauce at Trader Sam's. My stomach was like tore up the next day. Like I was not feeling good. Like I barely ate that day. We went to In and Out and I don't think I got the full experience of In and Out because I was like nauseous and didn't want to feel like I can't eat anything. I still ate it, but I wasn't feeling great. Like poor Christine that morning was like, Are you okay? I was like, I should not have like had that like sauce yesterday. And she's like, Well, how many times did you eat it? I was like, like I dipped two fries in it. Like I literally had it two times. That's a shame that you're and it makes me so sad because it was so good and I wanted to keep eating it. But as soon as I felt the spice on my tongue, I was like, I shouldn't. I know better. I know that this is not good. Okay, so ⁓ I want to say this Ozzie Osborne, the Prince of Darkness booth drinks. They have one called the Ultimate Sin Ammon. Yes, I wrote that one down. Lemon juice, apple juice, spice, brown sugar syrup, and red beet powder. I might try that. I like some drinks. I was gonna say it reminds me of like a sp ⁓ like a apple cider. I don't know what you call it when it's alcoholic. Like you get like a bonfire or something. Like you go to things in the fall and someone has like the alcoholic spice apple cider. Yeah, spice cider. That's exact I was thinking the exact same thing, Jason, when I saw it. I was like, that's not that's what I could get into. Like it's not overly Which one? It's an obvious It's S I N hyphen A ⁓ O N. So it's sin amun. 'Cause it's fireball, lemon juice, apple juice, spice brown sugar syrup, and a red beet powder, which I'm assuming doesn't add flavor, it just makes it red. Right. Yeah. I'd try that. But that's one that I was like, I could do that. I think that's all the food we have. I've said it before, like this Food for H me for H H N is not like the thing. Like I don't go to H H N to eat. Right. I do I do drink ⁓ while we're there, obviously, and I'll I'll be partaking on trying a lot of that those drinks. But the food, like I can't like like I mentioned, it's it's just so heavy, a lot of this food and that's all like in the past there's always been that heavy stuff. I've been able to find the chicken palm last year. I was able to go sit in the scare zone for the chainsaws in Springfield. I just sat down and ate that. If I'm having a relaxing night, I might go get the pork pulled pork and sit down and eat and watch people get scared. But on the nights where I'm actually doing stuff, I'm not thinking about sitting down and eating. I'm thinking about go and what can I eat while I'm in line. But I think it'd be fun to try some of this stuff still. Yeah, I just like you said it is so heavy and most people go in groups. I wish they did instead of making like sandwiches and they would make things in bites. Like that were easily shareable that you could like, okay, the four of us are gonna go over here and purchase a meal, but we're gonna share it and then an hour later we'll purchase another one. But I figure, like I said at the top of the show, Micah and I will be going through all the houses if we can. We'll be going through as much as possible. So we're gonna rank we are actually gonna rank these from ten to one, the wor the ones we are not so much hyped for to the one we are most hyped for. Rachel would be if she she's there in spirit with us this year when she goes. We need a cutout of her head. Yeah. ⁓ so Rachel's gonna do her ranking of if she was there, what houses she would want to do the same way that Mike and I are, ⁓ 'cause she's not a scaredy cat. But Terry is. So she's just gonna be like from a ten to one. She's gonna go, which ones would she want to go through? Which you know What's one the one I had to. Yeah, if she has to go through it, which one would she go through? So that's gonna be a little bit different. Because she's not in it for the aesthetics or the scares, she's just in it for the like the not so scares. Yes. And we'll do the same thing. Well, I should you're just ranking like number one as the ones you thought would be least scary. Right. And that's probably what she's gonna do this time. No, no, no, no. Okay. So ⁓ and then we'll do the same thing with scary zones later. We'll just mention right quick that they have the The zombies are coming back from Els Dion and then Club Horror is coming back over at ⁓ San Francisco. So you can have your dancing and party. It looks like that was a really cool atmosphere that they added last year. I'm glad they're bringing it back. It was fun. Yeah. Let's start with Terry. Number ten. I ha are we're doing scare zones or houses. Houses. Okay. Number ten, I have the HR Blood and Guts. Can I just because of I don't know any of the lore and anytime they try to make like a pun on something like that, I to me it's not that scary in my head. I still don't want to do it, but it's you know. Yeah, I can see where that one, like for you three, would be low if it's low on Rachel's. That's not low on mine. Well, I'm just saying, like, I can see where w where it would be because it there's there's the lore behind it that's previous H H N stuff. So those that makes sense to me. That it's it's Down there at the bottom for you two. Rachel, what's your number ten? Invasion. The alien abduction. Yeah. Like I I'm not into like UFO spate. Like I don't it's down that topic that I like. So that's why I don't find it interesting or really care for it. I think this that's the pretty house. I think invasion is like the pretty house that we had last year when it came to ⁓ Gaulkin. Gaulkin, yeah. And then The dead man's pier a few years ago. I think that's what that is. You're gonna have a lot of the scenery and great stuff. ⁓ my number ten is Madlands. That just didn't resonate with me. That's that that cage carnival cannibals. But had a house similar to this a few years ago. I just it didn't wasn't good at all. So it just kind of I'm not looking forward to I'm I'm hoping it surprises me though. Let me I'll say that. Terry, your number nine. Number nine, ⁓ I had Ozzy Osbourne's house. At least for the music I would have thought it would have been top five. Again, I get well my eleven year old also helped me make the list. So some like he put aliens really high on the list. I would have put them further to the back. But anyway, for the same fact like I'm I'm not familiar familiar with Ozzy Osbourne, but like I grew up watching the Osbornes and I'm familiar with the music. And again, there's nothing about Ozzy that scares me. And I even try to talk Colton into being like, but it's like demons from hell. Like Don't think they're kind of scary? And he was like, Yeah, mom, but it's still like Aussie. It's gonna, you know, he's like, even if they if they play the music, it's gonna take you out of it of it being scary because you enjoy the music, you know? So that was our settled on number nine. So to my argument to that is like I've been through the weekend house, both at Hollywood and did and ⁓ Orlando, and then the Thousand Corpse, something like it Rob Zombie House. And they played all the music the entire time and it didn't take me out of the house. Like it actually added more to it. I would be more scared of Rob Zombie than Ozzy, I will say. Yeah, Rob Rob Zombie is kinda weird. Micah, what was yours? Cyber Goria, 'cause I just don't find that one too. I don't I just don't think it's gonna be really scary. I'm just not as excited to go through that one. I think this might be an interesting year for all of us. Rachel Hellraiser. Is my number nine. I think like last year we had people like matching real soon. And well maybe you were flipped a little bit on some of them, but my number nine is Stranger Things. Okay. And this is full disclosure of like like I said, I've seen some of the stuff and a lot of the people I follow said Stranger Things is very lacking this year. So I'm and I'm not a fan of the show. Like I I ended up ranking Stranger Things later when I did the first houses years ago. Up higher, they were always low on my list. So I just think I don't I don't know. Stranger things. What wh Rachel, what was Hellraiser your your number nine? ⁓ let me read it. It's based upon a movie you haven't watched. Probably. My internet is something that's Yeah, like it's just I don't know. I've never watched it. I so I'm not gonna get it. So I think that's why I put it low. It makes sense. Like w once again, the HR blood and guts, like I can see why it's low if you don't watch the stuff. It's the same reason I put Stranger Things. Terry you're number eight is Stranger Things. I, unlike Jason, am a fan of Stranger Things. And season four Vecna was scary. Season five plus movie kind of made him not so scary. So I think if they would have stopped at season four and they would have, you know, the mind player and all that stuff, I would have moved placed it higher. But I'll say the first couple of seasons of Stranger Things I stopped watching because my husband would fall asleep and I don't want to watch it by myself because I'm a big scary cat. But once I watched season four, I went back and watched all the other seasons and it wasn't scary anymore. Once you know kind of what it's kinda like you're not knowing what's going on, that's what made it scary. Then once you did. So I think it'll be a if they do it right, which Jason said they probably aren't, I think it would be an interesting house to go through. Like if I had to go through one, that would probably be the one just 'cause I do know all the lore and I would like to see what they made everything look like if it is like, you know, Beckno centered or whatever. But I don't think it's gonna be scary. I think out of all of the Stranger Thing like the reason I like Stranger Things being in this year is that is a done. Like they won't bring Stranger Things back later. Right. I'm tired it they went through this thing with Walking Dead right before I started going and they like beat that to a pole. So I'm re I'm glad Stranger Things is done after this. Mm-hmm. Micah. ⁓ my number eight is invasion alien abduction. I just don't think it's gonna be really scary. Again, I agree with you, Jason. It's probably gonna be more of like the pretty scenery house. Unless they go along, like where you are abducted and then all of a sudden you're like on a ship and it's like really sterile and they're doing experiments or something. I don't know. But I just don't I'm just not super excited. Aliens aren't my thing really. I don't really care. They don't scare me. I'm just not Well, I mean, I've talked about how I Where I work with y'all, so aliens are up my alley. Rachel, what's your number eight? Jack and Oddfellow. I'm guessing Lore. What? I'm guessing Lore because you don't know their history so much. Yeah. Yeah, I have no idea who that is. But like it looked interesting. Like it it looked like it could be like like cool vibe, but like I just know nothing about it. I think ⁓ I I appreciate that. Like You will have to know their lore a little bit just to understand why this house is so important to the the community. My number eight is Evil Dead. It's just there. ⁓ I like the movies. I haven't seen this one, but I think it's gonna be fun. But it's it's down there because I just don't care for it as much. You know, it's just not a it's not a selling point for me to go. Terry Seven. Seven is a Cybergoria, whatever that is, the apocalyptic. Yeah, robots, whatever. And Colton also pointed out he was like, That's really dumb when he was reading the descriptions. He said the last sentence says the singular goal to make you live forever, even if it kills you. He's like, That is so lame. He's like so he's not wrong there. Like he is he's very right on that. He's like, It could be scary, but the way they're they're wording it, it doesn't sound like it's gonna be scary. We're gonna kill you even if it kills you. Yeah. Micah. Stranger Things is my number seven. I've not seen a single episode of Stranger Things. So it's just not at the forefront. Maybe it should have been lowered out on the list. Just I I just don't I feel like they could do it well with like Demogorgons being scary looking and things like that. Like I know what some of the things are from Stranger Things because of other people that have watched it or just social media, but I just don't know it that well or would know the story or why things are happening. So I almost feel like you might like it more because you don't know what's going on and you haven't been disappointed. Maybe by it. So it might actually make you appreciate it. Where some of us that were kind of disappointed were are gonna be like, Okay, we've sitting there, been there, done the you know, we've seen all this. Yeah. There was one year they had a huge demic organ puppet. Like you walk through a demic organ. It was crazy. I think it was Season two and three house. I still wasn't impressed, but it was it was there. Rachel. ⁓ each are blood and guts, so just I don't know. Schools, gore. Just seems like a basic. Is that the one that they're saying could be bloodier than ⁓ I if I remember right, yes. That might be why I put it at the bottom of my list as well. I am. I'm very disappointed. I think it's hard because like I honestly I don't have the background of these. Right. I also think like and I'm not discrediting what you're saying on everything, Rachel, is like you're also not getting to go this year. Right. So like I appreciate you being on the podcast and doing this and putting your faith out there, like this is what I would like to do and how I think I would do it. But there's no excitement for you 'cause you won't get to see if this hype list actually lives up to you for you. So I mean, thank you for being participating in it. Well, I think we should do What you guys should like think. We should out independently from there rank them and send ⁓ to Rachel, but not tell each other how we rank them and not tell her like she can't share and then she gets on here and like Well thank you, Terry. Like as we came out, I started on my list, like I put it in and then I would put them That's what I did last too, as we came out of the houses. I would write it down and then put it above or below, like where Yeah. Okay. That's what I do every year. I just as I'm walking out that last exit, I'm typing where I wanted it. ⁓ my number seven is centers. It just goes back to the fact I haven't watched the movie. It if I watch the movie before we go, there's a chance it can move up. But it's it's just right right there. I I know it's dracul I know it's ⁓ vampires. So nothing scary, but hopefully good. ⁓ once again I've heard not so Not some good stuff. Terry, what's your number six? My number six was sinners. ⁓ just because vampires, I like if I had to get into a horror genre, it would be vampires. I enjoy but I mean I enjoy like vampire diar diaries, like Twilight, vampires. But but that stuff doesn't freak me out, you know, as much as like 'cause it's not as much blood and guts and you know realistic. I guess it's the most unrealistic one. So it doesn't scare me. Yeah. Micah. My number six is Hellraiser. Never seen the movie, but I We agree there. Me and you agree on Hellraiser. We do. So I mean, it looks like it could be a good house. And I know there like that it's one of those like movies that people like, like it's a scary movie. It must be it could be scary, those kinds of things. So I just thought just looking at it visually and stuff, I don't know. It looks like it might be decent. I mean, we're getting in now, like next round, our top five, so Hellraiser's kinda closing out my bottom. Terry, I want to go back to you and your vampires. Are you you would much rather have the Twilight Vampires for H H N, right? The sparkling and ⁓ if I could have like V Vampire Diaries, Vampires or Twilight Vampire. And Damon Salvatore come up and talk to us. Yes, but I was more of a Stefan fan. So I don't know. But I also watched the originals. So ⁓ what was his name? Which one? Klaus? Elijah Clo Klaus, but Elijah was always my favorite, but Klaus loved him too. Here's a random fact about Vampire as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Dolly Parton was a silent partner in She was. She's a silent producer. Yep. Rachel, what's yours? Cyber Goria. I just I don't know, House and Brave the Cold. Like it that's gonna be the cold house, right? Probably. Maybe, yeah. I have to look at the like it just make you live forever. E like even if like it just it sounds dumb. I wonder if you're gonna have like cryo chambers and stuff, like where they would look you. Yeah. Usually the cold houses are in But they have it in the same spot of where Jason was last year? Yeah. Usually it's in ⁓ the sound stages for cold houses. ⁓ my number or six, right? Yeah, I said Hellraiser. Me and Micah agreed on that. ⁓ Terry, what is your number five? I don't know if I have this Hellraiser. Don't know the lore. Don't know anything. I'm sure if I have watched the movies, it would be and I try to even look at the description where it says like Tormenting. And I was like, well that kind of sounds like it would suck. But I don't think anybody like looks at Tormenting and says, Hey, that's gonna be a fun night. Yeah, let's do that. That sounds like great time. I will say not to the extent of H H N tormenting. Let me say it like that. That is lower on my list, like I said, my son wanted me to put Aliens higher. I probably would have put Aliens more to the top and Hellraiser more to the bottom, but this is compromise. So Yeah. Micah? I put Evil Dead Burn as my number five. My husband likes the movies. I feel like it could be decent. Like my first year, my first year going was an Evil Dead house and it was like the fun house. Mm-hmm. So it was like it was I didn't know what to expect. I'm like, what the crud is this? We had all these scary houses and then we had this one. And it's based off the original Evil Deads. And then it's like we get it was fun. It's I'm laughing a little bit 'cause it's so cheesy and I'm like, why is this in a horror thing that really just went back to say, Okay, they make one house that's just kind of fun. So Evil Dead having that opposite and that they're trying to be scary now. No. Rachel? Stranger Things. Again, like Micah, I've never seen an episode, but I just figure a lot of people like it. So they can't do it that bad. So you put Stranger Things five at number five. Yeah. I didn't even realize I did that. Yep. Yep. Yeah, yeah. You did that on purpose. My number five is Cybercore. I'm a huge Star Trek fan. They have the Borg, which are cyborgs. So I think they could do really fun things with them. They can be scary. They can't be. You know, maybe it'll be good. I've heard decent things about it. Terry, number four. Number four, I have Jack Oddfellow. I have no idea what he is, what he does. But doesn't he kind of look like a clown? Well, Jack is a clown. Oddfellow is a ringleader. Well ⁓ the clown freaked me out, so that's why I went near the top of the list. I don't like Yes. Yeah, I noticed that as we were making these lists. I was lately. This is gonna be a great year for Terry. Yeah, liking this. Yeah. We're gonna have a a reel post it after we get back of how many times Terry can get scared by a clown. Yeah. There's gonna be so many clowns. Micah. My number four is Sinners. I haven't seen the movie, but I really want to see it before we go. And also I feel like like I like vampires kind of like ⁓ Terry does. But one of the movies that actually scared me like as like a young adult ⁓ was Forty Days of Night. I don't know if you guys have seen that movie. And it's like where they're in Alaska and it's like it goes dark for 40 days or whatever, and that's when the vampires come like on this town and wreak havoc on it. Mm Robert and I watched that movie and then we decided or I decided I had to go outside and feed my horses, but it was dark. And my wonderful at the time boyfriend decided to hide around the corner of the barn ⁓ when I went to turn the fence off and scared me like one of those vampires. And so I literally he told me I screamed like a man. Like I didn't have a high pitched scream, like it like a deep, like, ⁓ like scream. And You were scared. I was. So vampires can be very scary. So it's number four. That's what I have is number four. There we go. We same one. I have invasion as number four. I think we're getting that point where I could really intermix all all these right here. But inva like number four, that's number four because of the the beauty thing. I really think the the planes, that area, that's gonna be like the really gotcha moment. You see stuff like that, what they can do in it. And then if you go on the alien ship, it might just be cool. So number three, I have aliens. Again, what I would have done it. Colton taught me into it. He started talking about xenomorphs. Don't know what those are. You don't know what a xenomorph is? No. I have no idea either. The alien, like the alien from alien. He's like, well, what kind of aliens are they? Are they xenomorphs? Are they this but what I started thinking about was that movie signs. It's not And how those aliens would run across aliens that it is. What about like Mars attacks aliens? That would be hilarious. I mean, so and it's kind of like Micah said is that if they're like, Taking you in and like probing you and like abducting you, that's you know, more scary, I think, than if they're just touching down and walking around. Can I say ⁓ the SNL skit? I can't w remember the girl's name, but it's always about the alien abduction. Kate McKenzie. Where she made Ryan Gosling lose it while they were doing it. They need to sit in there like a mayor. Yeah. That's not the experience I had. If they need to put that character somewhere in this just as a little bunny. Like 'cause it's it's SNL, so Universal owns that character. They can do whatever they want to with it. That needs just somebody dressed or in a corner being picked up by an alien. I don't know, but it would be hilarious as a little Easter egg of SNL to see. Like what if they just have like a mannequin dress like her with like the cigarette like in the corner? It would be fantastic. I every time that video pops up, I watch it because it is so funny. Because she's in like three or four of them and I watch every single one. ⁓ who we at? Who we at? Rachel. Rachel, what'd you eat number three? Me, number three. ⁓ Yeah, number three. Number three. I did ⁓ Madland's Cage Cannibals because I kind of thought the whole thing was kind of cool sounding with the people. Are you number three with that one too? No. Okay. But I just thought it sounded really cool. It is. It's my number one. ⁓ my God. I think that it just sounds cool and that they can make it really gross and scary. Like with the way that these things must be eating other people and stuff. Like I just f I just think it's gonna be great. All right, Rachel. What's that? Hilarious, Terry. Evil Deadburn is it just sounded like a cool thing, like the house is gonna get the next victim. Like that's I'm go I don't I've never seen the movie. So like I have no background of that. I'm strictly going off of like I'll say this though. I don't think anybody's seen that movie because it came in the theater and left and no one saw it. So well I didn't even know. Somehow it made a house. Right, because they signed a contract thinking it was gonna be b bigger than what it was. Mm. My number three, like I said, not these these definitely these next three are very interchangeable for me because they all have different mean different things. So like Jack and Oddfellow, I have it number three. It's because of the lore. I think it's gonna be a really good house, a really fun house. I like the fact that Jack and Oddfellow finally getting in a house together for the first time and then they have the scare zone outside the place. It's gonna be fun. It's just I'm ready to see this. And as a as a like it should be number one, and that's like Why I said they're so interchangeable is because different times of different days. I'm like, I'm excited for this one. Terry, what's your number two? My number two, first of all, I want to say I have Jack Oddfellow written down as one person. Like birth name Jack. Set last name Oddfellow. So as soon as you explained it, I thought it was Dr. Oddfellow. My number two is Evil Deadburn. Just because I thought that one could get gross and gory. I have never seen the movie. I don't know anything it's about, but I just I don't know. It I think of things coming back from the dead is kinda gross. So I would not like it. Micah. My number two is Jack and Oddfellow, Chaos and Control. One because Jason talks about how great it is. Like that kinda influenced me. But also since it is such like an original thing to H H N, I just feel like they have to do it well. Like it has to be good. So that's why it's my number two. Look, Jack is the original icon. So they ha they have to treat him well. And I mean clowns are weird and scary. And then also you have like a very like Dr. Facilier type person, but scarier and odd fellow. So I just think it could be like really creepy and scary. And again, it's an original thing to H H N. So I feel like they just really have to do it well. Yeah. Rachel? I have Ozzy Osmore. I just grew up like watching the Osborne's and like, you know, with his passing a year ago, I keep seeing Sharon pop up and doing interviews about ⁓ and I just I don't know, I'm feeling Ozzy Osbourne lately. And then like Mason's playing like the beginning of a couple of songs and it's just I don't know. Don't worry about that. I like how you and Terry go back to like, well I watched the Osbornes growing up. It's not we've listened to Ozzy growing up. We watched him on ⁓ T V yelling at the I was like an ⁓ yeah, but like it's the T R L generation. Like I get it. My number two is HR Blood and Guts. Once again, it's just the history of it. We've seen the reason right now it's above Jack and Oddfellow is because we've gotten Jack and Oddfellow here in recent years. It's been so long since we gotten HR Blood and Guts that we So I'm I'm excited to see this and what they do with the characters. Terry, we know ⁓ Terry and Rachel we know is Madlands for number one, which is wrong. See, you said it like first you were like I I didn't get it right the last time and like I'm like, ⁓ no, that's my number one. But then I'm like, I reread it and I was like, I still like it. Yeah. Yeah. I I mean, there's so there is potential for it to be good. And I mean, the reason it's number ten is 'cause it's it's like I just wasn't a fan of the way it was executed the first time. Which it wasn't like cannibals the first time. It was a zoo prison type thing and it was just bad. And It was rushed to the to the defensive HH and like they had lost an IP, they had to put something there at the last minute. So they put that prison block in and it just it sucked. It was horrible. So my my expectations are very low based off of that experience. But I think it could be a good house at the same time. So Micah, what's your ⁓ your number one? Ozzy Osbourne. That's my number one. So they have the same number one and we have the same number one. One I mean, also I grew up watching the Osbornes. Like I did watch them. I watched all of that. But again, I feel like just because like, you know, he passed away a year ago. And again, I feel like even if it isn't scary, I still think it's gonna be a good time. Like I think you're gonna have a great time going through the house, hearing the music and everything. There's gonna be bats. Yeah, like I definitely feel like it's just gonna be a good time. And that's why I have it at number one. I don't really care if it's scary. I just think it's gonna be great. To me it's the music because I'm like I like that music. That is my genre. You know, my favorite we're going back to Stranger Things, my favorite part for Stranger Things for House was that Metallica scene. Like I that's the whole reason I wanted to go through the house was to see how they they did that. Doing a whole house based off of Ozzy Osbourne and his music. There's one the band that I really want to see is Ice Nine Kills. I think that would be a great house, but I just don't know if we'll ever get that. So Ozzy is what it is. And I think I would go through that house for I think it's gonna have the longest line probably. Like I feel like its line might be one of the longer ones. Let us see. Look and see. All right, let's go to ⁓ scare zones. Are we gonna start from the bottom on those as well? Four to one. Four to one. ⁓ Rachel, let's start with you. Fort nightmares. Same. That's the four for as well. It's it's it looks it out of all the stuff coming out of the TM previews, this one was getting the most hate because it just looks bad. Ozzie Osbourne right now is five minute wait. You could be there. I really hope well, it's also the isn't this the night where like it's more expensive to go so it might not sell out and Oddfellow's fifteen minutes. It's sold out tonight. I gotta get my kid to teach me how to do some of these dances, like ready and stuff, so then we're going through the scare zone, I can dance with the people. And I get it. There's they've gotta have some type of fun for it, but I I just don't like Fortnite. And I don't think Fortnite belongs here and it looks cheesy. Terry, was that your was that your number four as well? Fortnite. Like I said, I think they're doing it to draw in a younger crowd. I don't think anything scary about it. Yeah. To me and that w that was my biggest biggest disappointment. I think I told y'all when we walked through Cat Lady last year. That's my favorite scare zone area because it's so enclosed. They usually pump it full of fog. And then you put Fortnite here. I think Fortnite should have been Hollywood. That way it's wide open. You can watch people do whatever dances they do and all that. So number three, Micah. Downtown Clown Town. What? I just I don't Like clowns don't really scare me. I feel like really the next three, like between the next three, really could be anywhere for me. Like it's hard for me to be ranking them really 'cause I feel like they're all gonna be kinda similar to me, I think. Micah. Or not Micah, Rachel. ⁓ Sideshow of Decay. That was mine too. I think that was mine. Yes. Sideshow of Decay. But I think me and Jason have the same. I think Sideshow Decay is gonna be fun because of you're seeing some of the some of the other icons show up. So like Cindy showing up and I don't think the direct director showed up or the usher, whichever one. But seeing that type of stuff is really cool. ⁓ you you see Sinister, you see surreal, like there's icons coming through and it's it's gonna be great. It's just gonna be fun. Micah. For the next one? I just ⁓ and this one probably should be ranked lower because it really is just a ⁓ walkthrough of what the pictures and the logos are for all the houses. But I think it's gonna be I don't know, they had those scary gargle things out in that part last year. That was all the icons and they actually were kinda It wasn't scary. It was creepy, eerie when you walk through there. Yeah. It wasn't like b ⁓ scary, but it was it's sorry, sorry. I miss I miss ⁓ sideshow and icons, I'm I'm switching up because sideshow is where all the icons are showing up. Icon the the carnival part, that's where Jack and Oddfellow stuff is. That's in Hollywood. The infernal Carnival of Nightmares is where Jack and Oddfellow okay. So that's that's Hollywood. That's gonna be real fun. That's gonna be great. That's why it's there. Sideshow is the one in front of Minions where we're it's the Evil Dead logo, the Fortnite logo, all that stuff. That's that one should have been could have been below Fortnite, but Fortnite's just bad. Right. I I mean I have Sideshow of Decay as number one only because it means that I get to leave and go get in my bed as we're going out as we're leaving. 'Cause I'm probably gonna be dead again. And we have to make it all the way back to Disney then because we're staying Disney. So we have to Uber. So we have to leave. Get in an Uber. Yeah, because Jason's not driving. Ride ride twenty, thirty minutes to Disney and then go to bed. So So number one, I think we all h like everybody but Micah, downtown Clowntown. Downtown Clowntown. Downtown Clown Town. If you It sounds like the Miley's Harris, the dad the the hoe down, what is it? But look, so for if and I've been l I've been watching, right? I've I've seen all this stuff. And last year, if you remember, that scare zone started right in front of what is the what is the tribute store this year. So and it went all the way down the street. This year it actually encompasses around that park. So the the killer clowns from outer space are in front of Jimmy Fallon. You have stuff still going down the street. You have art that's in front of Transformers. You have Chance that's in one of Transformers. So they're just pulling in a lot of clowns. There's a lot of clowns. And Chance being back is great because she's doing her her routine, which is Jack's girlfriend in the lore. I think it's gonna be fun. I think being able to get your pork sandwich and sit in this area is is a great are they not doing the ⁓ chainsaws over in the Simpsons area again this year? Is that not like a typical thing that happens over there? I've not seen. I would like him. I know I know people who are going in September and I helped them like book their trip. And I said, Is anyone that's going in your group to HHN scared of clowns? And the person that's playing like that contacted me and planning the whole thing, he's like, You mean besides me? And I was like, ⁓ there's a lot of clowns. A lot here. And one of the things that scared him the most was like clowns from outer space. So, or whatever that was. So, like, and that's one of the main thing. And he was like, Great. It's a niche genre. Yeah. Clowns around our face. Like I said, one year there was the chainsaw horde where clowns with chainsaw protesting the looks of clowns with chainsaws. Okay. It was fun. Well, that chainsaw is like inherently spooky. And it was annoyed. It's just annoyed. And that they have the electric like the just the dry pull, one pull. chainsaw so they can walk up right behind you, just rip one and then scare the crap out of you. Wash your head. And the one that tried to shave, you know, Rachel's hair off. I'm excited for the show, so I don't know if we'll have time to stand and watch the Stranger Things show in the lagoon. If I think priority would be to watch Nightmare Fuel, because I Nightmare Fuel's a better show than what the Lagoon shows are. Yeah. Just person like I find it more entertaining and it's a longer show of being able to sit down and rest your feet after I enjoyed that show. Yeah, that was my favorite parts last year. And then it's a different thing this year. Is that no it's not the circus, which is weird. You have a circus theme event this year and the nightmare fuel isn't circus theme. So I think we should prioritize the show as one of the first showings instead of waiting for in because the houses got shorter lines at the end of the night too. They do. And I think we can if we do it right where we go in at two PM with the stay in screen. We just go ahead and hit it what we can in the mor like right then. Mm-hmm. And like you said, we can prioritize that first show. I'm fine with that. No, we're gonna leave by like ten PM, right? Like when when I we walk in, I go, Jason, when does this close? And he's like, two AM. And then I'm like, I'm not staying until two AM. No. And then we were walking out at two AM. Yes. Yeah. And y'all all had the I almost gave up. I lost a toenail. You did. I mean, I literally looked at Terry and was like, I'm really contemplating going back to the room right now. I don't know if I can make it. Yeah. I'm glad y'all put up with She's like, if I if you go, I'm going to I'm glad y'all put up with me during this season and that y'all like y'all still want to do this with me. Well, but I'm being smart and I'm flying in on Friday. Yes. You it'll be late Friday. But again, I will have time to sleep in on Saturday. 'Cause you guys are doing Mickey's Not So Scary the night before, right? Friday night, yeah. Yeah. So you guys will be out late. So you guys you may not even be back to the room yet, Terry, by the time I get there. Yes. Well, that's gonna do it for our H H N hype episode. I'm excited, obviously. I'm glad like I I keep saying, I'm glad y'all are doing this again. ⁓ Rachel, you will be missed. Sorry to miss it. Next year we'll do H H N the Right Way on R. I. P. tour and get Rachel down there. ⁓ As long as it's just a lot of traveling lately and then Andy's traveling a lot, so it's just a lot. I know it's a hard time of year. It is very hard. Travel. On top of it, something we'll talk about on the later episode is Disney Cruise Line next year, you know, selling out of New York and we're talking about taking a fam out of New York. So it's it's gonna be like the Hunger Games. Yeah. How are we are we gonna go to are we gonna get on a plane after New York and go straight to Orlando and do H H N? Just make it the week. Or vice versa. Do HHN and fly straight to New York. I'm gonna skip HHN for a year. The fairy's like, you got me two years in a row. I don't know if you'll get three.
