I'm here with Terry and Micah. Rachel is not with us tonight. She's just a little bit under the weather. So we hope you feel better. Feel better, Rachel. I'm gonna throw. They do. I'm I'm just here. I don't have anybody joking on. ⁓ I'm gonna throw a little trivia at you. Do you know what today is? September eighth. We're recording this September eighth. Hold on. September eighth eighth. Nine years since I got induced with COVID. The anniversary of something Disney related. No. It is an anniversary. It's the first day HHN ever opened. No. That was a good guess. It's the 60th anniversary of my favorite TV series, Star Trek. Hey, speaking of Star Trek, have you seen the new show, The Star Trek Strange Worlds or Strange New World World? Watch that so much. They love it. I can't get over the fact that the guy that plays Stefan Salvatore is in it as Captain Kirk, but whatever. I love the Kirk or is he is he Pike? Huh? Is he Kirk or Pike? I don't know who the that guy is. You have to like real name person. ⁓ Kirk. Is he the captain of the ship? His name is Paul Paul. Why ⁓ Paul Wesley. Wesley. Not Paul Wall. He's definitely not Paul Wall. Paul Wesley. So we we brought tra I've been trying to get Travis into Star Trek the little backstory. I love Star Trek. My dad was the one who turned me on to it. So I've been watching it since I was ⁓ Travis's age. A couple of weeks ago they had a puppet, a Muppet. The whole crew turns into Muppets. I literally I saw it and was like, Jason, I know how you already likes Star Trek. Yeah, so I I watched it at work and I was like, okay, this is appropriate. And then I let Travis watch it and he loves it. So I brought brought him in. To bring it back around, do you know how Star Trek fits into the universal mythos of the theme park? No. It's owned by Universal Simpson. No, Paramount. The lockers for the mummy attraction. That is where you went and did the Star Trek experience. You would get dressed up as a Klingon or in a Starfleet uniform, something like that. And then you turn around and film an episode, quote unquote, of Star Trek. And you could leave with a VHS tape of you being on the Enterprise. That's cool. That's a really cool what's the word? Souvenir. That's what I was looking for. I mean The souvenir cost more than the ticket to get in the park. That doesn't surprise me. The the VHS was around thirty dollars. I see. I saw, yeah. That is Kirk. I was like, I'm pretty sure it's Captain Kirk. He's not captained yet. He's command he's commander in the in the series. Well, I should be cap he should be captained by the end of this season though. I have not really watched much. I see it here and there when Robert and Kova are watching it. He's really good. There's a couple of great episodes in season two with him that'll go back and watch. Well, all I know is that sometimes it is the most random things. Like at one point they were cowboys. And they are riding horses. And I like, What is this? That was the season that was a season open of that was a season opener of this season. Because they're on an alien page. That's what I'm doing Thursday morning. I watch Big Brother and then I watch Strange New Worlds. I'm just waiting on Rings of Power. I've never watched that. I I like we were talking pre recording about Lord of the Rings. I like the movies. I don't like the Hobbit movies. The Hobbits mm. The Hobbit's fine. I've seen them all, but not the same as my Lord of the Rings. Right. They're just not as not as good. But I I haven't even gotten in Ring of Power. I got annoyed when they brought Legolas back and made new characters. Like I was like, he's not in the Hobbit. Like just because of like fans and stuff and you think it's gonna make it more popular, like I got annoyed with the The thing with we'll we're we're gonna eventually get to this new stuff, but the thing that got I am way out in left field here. I'm just Star Trek and Lord of the Rings with nerd alert, nerd alert. And I say that lovingly 'cause my husband enjoys both of those and I love him dearly. So but I call him a nerd all the time. Yeah, Bethany puts up with it all the time. I mean I have plenty of stuff on me. Hold on. When he says things like I make a comment and he's like, That's deep space nine or that's the I'm like Just my family also puts up with me and my nerdiness for everything. Robert Lily left the house though when I turned the third movie on. Lord of the Rings I can see because that's a it's like a Harry Potter esque like epic, you know, kind of tale story. So that I couldn't wrap my head around because I enjoyed it, I would get down with it. The Star Trek stuff though is just that that's I that's lost on me. Yeah. You know. I mean, I have my Fellowship of the Ring thing. You can't really see it, it's cut off by the camera, but I got that. The weird thing is like there's middle earth. The lore for Lord of the Rings is so deep with what Tolkien wrote. Like yeah, there's lore for Star Trek and it's it's pretty deep itself, but it's none of its official canon when it comes to the books because it's all like they can submit, they can write, okay. But until they write they put it in onto the film. It's not everything Tolkien put out was War of the Rings related in some sort. So it's all Hobbit, Cimmerellian, and Lord of the Rings. That's why they should have Lord of the Rings land. Universal discussion. Well, they're going to have a Lord of the Rings land in the UK. Supposedly. Say better, because guess who's going to be going to that one? Yeah, I'll go to that one. Rachel will speak to There we go. Castles to cauldrons. Yes, when that one opens up. Castles to cauldrons. There are castles in Lord of the Rings and there are cauldrons in Lord of the Rings. So we get a sweep ⁓ Disney Paris. I mean that's my husband has told me if we go to Paris, he's like, I am not going to a Disney park if we go to Europe. He's like, I'm going to Europe, not Disney. Well I'll go with you, Taylor. We agree to disagree. So I'll go with you. Thanks for watching. That's why you take longer trip. Yeah, so Sam, we'll just make a little star. I told him that I was like, You can go and do something like Normandy. Like, you know, dudes love World War Two kind of stuff. I was like, Go do that stuff. But I have no really I enjoyed learning the history, but not immersing myself and that'll be me and the kids will go to Disney, you go do your man stuff, and that'll be our day apart. Yeah. And everyone will be happy. So while we're talking about travel, let's move over to our actual travel topic of stuff. 'Cause I'm pretty sure everybody tuned in to listen to us nerd out about You know, Lord of the Rings. You know, we may find a whole new fan base. We might. That could be the best thing ever. Is like, ⁓ these people talk about nerds, so let's let's listen. I'm even like feel like I'm like in my Hobbit-esque colors over here with my forest green. I wore wine colors. Well that's that's that's you, Terry. Let me go ahead and say this before we get started too much into it. This episode's all gonna be about news. We've held off on news for a little bit just to kind of do one massive news episode. That's kind of what we want to do going forward, just kind of skim through. So a lot of this news might be old by the time this comes out, but it's still a talking point we wanted to have and let y'all know about. Some of it's fun, some of it's stupid, but whatever. It's it's all it is. ⁓ so the first things first is that Disney Cruise Line announced that their twenty twenty seven fall and tw spring twenty twenty eight itinerators have come out. The biggest thing was what we mentioned a couple episodes ago is that They are going out of New York. Mm-hmm. We're gonna have a Bermuda and Canada. Love to do that Canada, New England cruise. Like I think that would be so great 'cause they do those in the fall. So it's beautiful going up the coast. I would love to do to go up there and do that. That's the one that's the one I really want to do myself. ⁓ a lot of these are already sold out. Like there's the transatlantic from that goes out to Europe, I think. It's sold out. I might be wrong on that one, but it goes from New York to Europe. ⁓ this is all on the wish. It's going and then there's one to San San Juan and back. Mm-hmm. Maybe. Puerto Rico. Yep. So this is like that's a lot of cool little things. I'm with Micah though. I really want to do the New England Canadian one. But if I go with the agency, then we're going to Bermuda. Which I'm fine with. I haven't been to Bermuda. I heard Bermuda's beautiful. Mm-hmm. Is it the overnight stay in Bermuda? No, I haven't looked at the Tamara too much. Me and Bethany are still like up in arms if we 'cause we do want to do New York sailing. We just don't know if we want to go with the agency as much as we love everybody in the agency. Right. Or if we want to do the ⁓ Canadian one, because we do like we've seen a lot of greats and things coming from that one. So that's that's all the DCL news. Like I said, if you want to go on some of those cruises though, get with anybody at magical travel dot com. We'll be glad to help you get those however Availability is, we'll try to get you on the one you want to get to. It's a I think this is a test market now that we're getting more ships in. I think they were trying to see like we're going out of Galveston again. We're going out of New York again. So I kinda think they're gonna see which one's more popular to put a s a ship at more full time. The rumor's always been that Galveston's gonna get one the last year or two. So that's a kind of a abandoned place. There's not too many ships. Yeah, no, that they like for Disney. Yeah. You know, I just feel like Well you think too, like Galveston and New Orleans, like that's a that's so those are some pretty prime spots to go out of. But you're offering the same cruise that you're already offering going out of Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral. I think it works well though for the people that live like in the middle of the country though. Because that flight's not as long. It's gonna be cheaper for them to be able to fly to Galveston or New Orleans versus all the way to Florida. But I think I think they need to stick with the ⁓ New York. Kind of like what they do with Magic and Wonder. Take ⁓ on the west coast and then move ⁓ up to ⁓ Vancouver for the summer. Do something similar for the Wish or another ship that stays in Port Canaveral and moves its way up to New York for a while. It is I should also say I the Destiny is going to be going out of Fort Canaveral starting that fall too. So that's a big change instead of Fort Lauderdale. Destiny and Treasure are switching. Over to just regular Disney Parks news. This one doesn't hurt so much because I didn't use it. I used it a couple of times. ⁓ the Disney Play app will be discontinued this month, September nineteenth. Did y'all ever use this? Once or twice. They were bored when we were waiting for stuff. They Pull it up. But honestly, I don't even know what they did on it. You know what I'm saying? I just they got like specific games for specific lines, but I think we pulled out and did like heads up or tic tac toe on the phone or something like And then they had like so this for Walt Disney World, there was a a game in Toy Story and Slinkin' Dog. There was a a scav the it was a hunt. Over in Star It's called Yeah. Yeah. And then you could check in the Disney. I don't know why I thought that was on just the regular Disney experience. Yeah, it was on the parts play. And then the DuckTales, Scavenger Hunt, and Epcot was in it. So it was like there was some random stuff. It just never really caught on. The fun thing for me was in Disneyland, if you got on Peter Penn, you answered some questions, found some stuff, and you could ⁓ like turn on the lantern, which would reveal Tinkerbell. Yeah. So people online would just randomly see Tinkerbell opening, like go up and disappear. It's no big loss. Well, I mean, I feel like like in Magic Kingdom where you can go do that pirate adventure thing where it's like a little scavenger hunt, like that's more popular because it's like more physical than being on your phone. Yeah. That's what I was gonna say. I think it's asking a lot to put your kid on a phone in a 'cause it's it's all kid oriented. And like the last thing you want to do while you've paid for a vacation is here, have a phone. They need to look back at bringing ⁓ sorcerers of the magic kingdom or sorcerers of the kingdom, whatever it was called. Yeah. Especially now with the rise of Lorcana. You know, the Disney trading card game. That's like this turned out to be pretty big compared to like Pokemon and stuff like that. If you incorporate those cards into what that r that game was, I think it'd be a really cool mix if you bring in your special card to be able to play something cards on the like kind of coming. I think they got rid of sorcerers because it was too expensive to just print out free cards every you know. They're just gonna be But I wonder with the Lorracana, like if it's gonna get to a point where you can bring those cards in and that's it. Like where then they're not having to give things or you have to go buy a pack of cards. It would be I think it'd be a good idea. I mean in some way incorporate them into the the theme parks. Especially like at the end like it's that said Sorcerer's Magic Kingdom, they had the special cards for Christmas and Halloween. So if you go to Fire Station you could get that card. So if you did something where you could go and earn a card that's only available by doing certain missions or certain type of games. And I know that's not the style like the game itself is all physical played card versus card the way Pokemon is. But if you think about interacting the way that sorcerers did where you showed your card and something happened and that earned you something. And you can still use your magic band, because at the end of the that's how they were keeping track of a lot of that stuff was Magic Band. That's what I was about to say. I think any day, any day that you can Or any way, I don't know. You can get your kid in the park where they can like tap their magic band and like with the gold statues. Uh-huh. Well, they'll sing a song or they'll say something or there's places in Star Wars Land that my kid did something on his phone. But like you walk by something that lights up. You know, that's like a secret quote unquote thing. Like the maybe it's like a tap here three times. You have to tap in s like a sequential order or something. To get people interested like that, I think that's much better than an app, like you said, or like a trading, something physical that they can see and they can do better than a tic tac toe game. I was listen I was listening to a podcast ⁓ this morning. They said something about a ⁓ Disney these people they they introduce people from their Patreon and stuff like that, like who support ⁓ It's like these people are looking into a way to get away from using the app and where you go and get a physical ticket. for your lightning lane and come back and use it. And I'm like, it's a joke. But I'm like, that's great. I think Disney needs to go back to that. I understand Lightning Lane is like free money. You have nothing you're putting out there for anything. It's just a code and you're making buttload of money from it. But like to Terry's saying getting people off the app is the best way possible. Like so I wish we could go back to that. Your internet's slow 'cause everyone's on their phone. Your battery dies. So now not only do you need your phone in the park, if you don't have an external battery or charging mechanism of some port, you can't last all day in the park. Like you're in no man's land. And then you can't order food and you can't do lightning lanes. And so it's it's become too dependent on your phone to to be in the park. And I think that's That's a lot what Disney wants is people to be on their phone though, because if you're if you're there, you're not paying attention to what they're not doing in the park itself. Yeah. What the upkeep isn't there. Speaking of seeing about upkeep around the parks, we're gonna head over to Disneyland for a quick second. We'll come back over to ⁓ Disney World. Bob Iger, he's officially out now, as we all know, but he got his window on Disneyland Main Street. This was right around the time of D twenty three. It was only a matter of time. Did he I don't I don't I don't know if he deserved a a window yet, but that's just me. ⁓ it's right there when the park in the when you come into the entrance of the park. What was his tenure at Disney? 'Cause I know he kind of retired and then they brought him back. Yeah, he was there for around twenty years. You know. So I was like, You gotta be good if you try to retire and they no no. No No, see he didn't he didn't try to retire. He did retire. He left remember 'cause they brought him back. When he stepped down, it was right when COVID hit. That yeah, and it they tamed It like right when COVID started coming around and people were like, Okay, he knew something was fixing to go on, so he said, See ya, ChayPek, you're in charge. ChayPek decided he didn't want to do a good enough job. Or he didn't decide. Yeah, he like I'm saying when you're that's a Matt and I were discussing one night, like you know when you're really bad at your job when they call the retired guy back in. Yeah. And they They said like he they did this over if y'all watched it, there's an Elton John concert on ⁓ Disney Plus. That was recorded the same night that they told JPEG he was out. I mean so obviously he didn't come back cheaply either. So No. I mean he made a huge impact on the company. Mm-hmm. He made a huge impact. I heard that when they would do the the filming for like the holiday specials and when C Pek would come out they'd have to put a track over it because everyone was booing him. Yeah, that was that was the truth from what I understand too. Like when when D twenty three happened they had to put a track over that. Like mute the audience type stuff. It was bad. Like ChayPek I didn't think was a good person. Like to like I he might have been a good person. He wasn't a good person for the job. No. Especially when you put cab ⁓ cabanas in Tomorrowland in Walt Disney World, it doesn't really work. He was all about the dog build. Yeah. Terrible. That's we're gonna use cabanas very loosely here. They were pop up. They were they were event tents with fans. And patio furniture. Yes. For five hundred dollars a day. Crazy. And they were that was like horrible. But that was him. That was let's how do we make more money? And he he did that. That so this essentially his stockholders should love him because he was trying to make more money. The fans didn't because they were he called him, you know, we don't focus on APs. We don't focus on this. We need to focus on the random people in Iowa. But Iger, yes, he he was a people person. He was a people pleaser. And the first part of his career at Disney, he was great. I just think he was there for damage control the last couple of years before he officially retired. Fingers crossed, Josh DeMarrow continues to do a good job 'cause he is such a parks person just in general, with always being in the parks and being in charge of like the park side before taking over from Iger. I guess we'll see. D twenty three wasn't too promising to me, but it's there. Well, I feel like a lot of that stuff's already in the works before he technically kind of took over. Some of that stuff has been in works since C Pek got booed. Okay. Yeah. So Villains Land. Yes. ⁓ heading back over to Walt Disney World. For you who like to stay at moderate resorts, we have some great news. The luggage service has been extended out to Caribbean Beach. So all the Value resorts and Caribbean Beach now offer you the luggage service. That is for guests flying on United Southwest and American. So Delta and all the cheap flights, like frontier spirits and you can do this for Delta. I do too. I don't fly too often, but when I do it's Delta. Yeah. I mean, I feel like they're just slowly adding things in. Like they'll add another airline in and then they'll add another resort eventually to where it's gonna get to where it's all the resorts again. But I'm excited for this. And I love that they started with the values. Like I like that they did that instead of saying like, Hey, like airport like luggage transfer that's gonna be for deluxe only, like people staying at Poly and Grand Flow and Contemporary. Thank goodness they were like, Nope, we're gonna start out at the value. They have to start somewhere because the deluxe get the minivans back and forth and I know that's a deluxe price point, but the value people aren't gonna pay the I think it's a hundred and fifty dollars round trip. Yeah, it's expensive. No one way for for MCO Disney. Yeah, I think it's like between one fifty to two hundred. And if you're staying value, you don't want to spend that money. ⁓ you'll rather spend the money on the Mears Connect. But as long if you bring in this free luggage thing That gives you a little bit more while you so you're getting something for free. Yeah. While you go it 'cause this is only available for l your departure, not for your arrival. So on your way way in you'll have to bring bring all your stuff with you. But to be able to drop your stuff off at the front and then go in the park for a little bit, then head over with your mirrors connect or your Uber or whatever it is. To get to MCO you don't have to worry about picking your luggage back up. So that's that's I wonder if they just made a deal with like mirrors and like the hey, we're picking people up from the resort and we got this luggage that also needs to go to the airport. Well, you know, they they used to just do box trucks. Would go and pick up all the luggage and drop ⁓ off. So that's probably they probably still have all those sitting backstage. Magical Express was mirrors, so eventually I would think they try to get that back. That's something everybody wants. It was so great just to drop your stuff at bell services and then if you wanted to do like a half day in a park or resort hop or go to Disney Springs until your flight, you know, yeah afternoon flight, you could just not have luggage. We're all going in October. I mean me and Beth aren't flying, but you know, you two flying, imagine if like y'all can drop your stuff off and then go into the park until your flight. Yeah. So I would one hundred percent love it. And that would have made it a lot better last year, Terry. You had to leave your stuff in my my car. I had to go through TSA basically just to walk through Disney Springs with luggage. Which I appreciate. They're being safe. I appreciate it. Not saying anything bad about it, but it was a hassle. It would have made it more convenient. Well, it also would have been more convenient if we stayed at Disney, but we were saying we stay at Rosworth too, so But they still have their own service they haven't gotten rid of. ⁓ while we're talking resorts, Lakeshore Lodge is officially opening July first. Of next year. Booking starts October 8th. They are doing a preview night for DVC members for three nights like before that. They also release like all the room categories. And there's like 13 of them. There's a lot. Yeah. It looks nice on the inside. The ⁓ what I understand is like the way this this hotel was originally designed is that there was the D V C side and the cash side, the regular hotel, like any other D VCs that were originally deluxe hotels to begin with, but they transitioned to make it all D V C. So those I've never heard of a duo studio. That's what I was just looking at. The duo studio, that's gonna be what what it is. That's ⁓ I think that's your two person. Yeah. Yeah I was gonna say it's a hotel room. Yeah that is that's what's supposed supposed to be a hotel room. Honestly, it's smaller than a hotel room. No, that's like the tower suites they used to have. I feel like I love that Pocahontas is getting so So the resort studios and the duty duo studios are going to be more the hotel style look with the kitchenette in ⁓ And then probably the deluxe studios are l what you're used to when you see it as a studio than everything else. Yeah. Crazy. Because that sleeps up to four. Yeah. When you get down to those like lake houses and the presidential suites and everything, that is Let me say Sonias the the bungalows still like peak castles of cauldrons. Like if we can get in there. But no, like you said, the bungalow peak. But these lake houses I would be there. If if Rachel says, Hey, we got a lake house, I'd be like, Awesome. Let's go. Not to say that I don't research everything 'cause I do, but there's a bajillion pieces of information that come out there. What are the transportation options? You'll have a boat back and forth to Magic Kingdom. A boat and a bus? Yeah, a boat and bus. So I don't know if the boat will be shared with Fort Wilderness or if it's its own boat boat dock. That was gonna be my only complaint about here is that I've never stayed anywhere that was like ⁓ boat access. But a lot of people I talk to say it's just slow. I like the boat access 'cause it's it's nice. It does look like it has its own boat boat dock. I wouldn't think they would share, honestly. I feel like because those are both two pretty big resorts. And I don't know how many boats are gonna run out of time though either. No, they they they have a few going on. So they have the Moon Glade, which is a restaurant on the water, which looks really nice at night. Yeah. And then the paint out point bar and grill, which looks like it's just a poolside bar. The pool looks awesome. I like how they did the natural but like all the sculptures and everything look like birds and plants and even if it can't be all quote unquote natural, you know, like actual trees and things. I like how it's keeping with the late vibe. And it's got like the Pocahontas and Bambi and all the forest Yeah type. Brother Bears represented? Like w since when do we see Brother Bear stuff? I've never seen the Brother Bears. I think I I still think this is a horrible looking outside resort. It's a little the inside's growing on me. So I'm I still won't make it a number one. Yeah, the lakes have fireworks viewing. So that is a if if you don't want to or if you've been to the fireworks, you know, already in your vacation and you still want to watch them, much like the towers at Contemporary and the Beaches at Polynesian, they have fireworks viewing. So it is, I mean, it's got deluxe qualities. And from what I understand that with the dandelion terrace, that is going to be only for people staying at that hotel. Okay. Well I mean, I like that because that does give you sometimes hop hotel Resort hopping is nice, but sometimes you lose a lot of the benefits of your resort some 'cause other people are there. And you don't get to enjoy them as much 'cause they're crowded or overpopulated. We've talked about it before. They they're starting to get really strict on that on resort hopping. So this place having a having somewhere where we can o where you can only watch these fireworks is great. I feel like this is a good teenager place to stay. I mean, it's also I mean, little kids obviously this is kinda teenagery or Like if you have boys. Yeah. That it does yeah, outdoorsy and it's not too cartoony. Yeah. And I d like I said, I do love that there's a lot of characters that are represented here that we don't see, like Pocahontas, Bambi, Brother Bear, all those types that are in there that we don't see like at the other places. And it's well themed, but it's not Uber themed. Yeah. So you don't feel like you're in the forest. You know, but you do feel like you're at a A summer camp on the A frame lake houses make me think Yeah, summer camp. Yeah. Or vacation I have someone who loves Coca Hannes and I literally just text her, like, Hey, this opens October eighth for me to start booking. She's like, Yes, please, like as soon as you can. I w I and I'm not a like against it. I just don't like the way that it looks right next to one of the I think Yeah. They did make it the It has a lazy river. Like at least it has a lazy river. Well, that's the least you can do when you're building something on top of river country. Yeah. When we went to Jackson Hole, this reminds me of you're in like Jackson Hole's not a big town in Wyoming. And it's literally like the side of a mountain. But you had these builders come in and build like the modern homes, the black and white square homes. And it just stuck out like a sore thumb. Cause even your restaurants and your shops and everything there were in like the lodgy outdoorsy, you know, kind of theme. And then when people come in and put these contemporary modern homes there, I mean, obviously they're nice and they're expensive and they're great, but it just did not fit in with the town. And so that's kind of what this is. So like Jason said, I wish they would have made the building I feel like this is gonna be like the contemporary is for us now. I see I I I don't. I think the contemporary for me is very much an icon. But it's ugly. No, I think it's I think it's great. I think it's modern. Like back then it was futuristic, but now it's more modern. I don't think it's ugly. I think ri I think ⁓ Lakeshore Lodge is ugly though. It's it looks like a Hilton. Yeah, that's that it's not doing to me. Mm mm. So I this isn't in the show notes But it's resort related and I just remembered it. ⁓ they announced that art of animation is going down for a sixteen month ren renovation starting next June, going through October of twenty twenty eight. Which this is the first big renovation they've had since it opened, which is saying a lot to me. So are they doing it in sections or shutting the whole thing down for that amount time? I think I think they're doing it in sections. ⁓ what I was listening to, they said it would actually focus more on ⁓ Little Mermaid first, because evidently if you don't know the history of art of animation, it was built as an expansion to Pop Century. And then when nine eleven happened, they kind of stopped that 'cause travel wasn't happening. So they they stopped the expansion. But that building and the lobby were already built, just not fleshed out. So there was a lot of elements it was exposed to elements from two thousand and one all the way to two thousand and eleven when they started doing the rebuild of to art of animation. So it was gonna be the golden years, right? Like the twenties or like the something like that. The twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, or the teens, twenties, thirties, forties. But yeah, that's so the the podcast I was listening to, ⁓ they they said it was probably going to focus on a lot of that, trying to fix stuff there. I wonder if I haven't looked at Little Mermaid rooms recently. So I wonder if it's to bring those rooms up to what the r other values have with the Probably one bed and then the one trauma bed. Which is great. Like it I feel like that's a great design because when you don't need that second bed, you can put it up and you have table. Yeah. But I mean if you and that's the weird thing is that they're doing this about the same time that ⁓ the legacy not the legacy, ⁓ Tropical America's is ⁓ gonna open and then part of Monsters Monstropolis. So you're taking The easy way into art of animation and taking those offline right when this brand new these brand new lands are coming in. I mean, but they do feel so I mean, 'cause you can tell it was supposed to be part of Pop Century because it's so like disconnected I feel from art of animation. Like it's a it's a walk back there from the lot of of art of animation. Which I think all the all the rooms were like all the foundations were pretty much put down. It was just They needed to build these out so they built family rooms. Little Memory does not have the trundle beds yet. And they also do not have from from this picture it doesn't look like ⁓ the laminate floor like the rest of the room. I was gonna ask about the flooring. I think it's carpet. I think it when I was there in two thousand fourteen, it was carpet. But that's the last time I was in that one. Scratch that. It is laminate, it's blue laminate. But ⁓ they do have the two beds. So this is probably a lot to do with they're gonna replace those the whole bedding in there. make it look more like the other standard resort ⁓ value resorts. I wonder if they'll keep it Little Mermaid or if they'll change the They they'll have to. And and the reason I brought it up was because of the stuff like that is the conversation of All Stars movies, they need to redo. They need to close off section by section. Keep Toy Story. Keep Fantasia just 'cause Sorcerer Mickey. But Mighty Ducks, Herbie, those the hundred and one Dalmans Bring those up to speed to these movies that the kids don't give it its albations. It's it's just there. I love the movie. Travis loves the movie, but you have Zootopia you could put there. You have to Yeah, I have so many other movies that would be easy. Yeah. Especially like Mighty Ducks. Like you had Mighty Ducks, I can say okay. You had two there were two great movies and you had a failed series. So I thought they should just redo movies to like a Pixar themed one. We already got I was gonna say like Toy Story. And then they could just do all the different sections, different Pixar movies. I would argue the art of animation is pretty much a Pixar with Nemo and bars. I know, but you've got their two popular ones over there. And then Toy Story. But I think anything that's kids focused, you could pull from the Pixar. Because that's what the kids now. That's the biggest thing. It's just make it over the top. The kids now, they don't really care about the classics. You know, when I said Dalmatians, like Jason said, it's not a priority. And but I think Inside Out, Toy Stories, Zootopia, all those. When it comes to us three, it's one hundred and one dominations. We're closer to the Glenn Close One Hundred and One Dominations than we are the actual animated because the animated came out so much earlier than us. Mm-hmm. So like I have I've seen more of the animated one. Right. I'm not saying I've watched the The live action one, but I remember seeing that one in theaters. I remember seeing 102 Dimensions in theaters. But I never saw 101 Dimensions animated in theaters. While we're talking about resorts, well, this will be the last resort update. ⁓ the Hurley Burley that is replacing Jelly Rolls will be opening October 1st. We got some looks of food on here. This is gonna be the ⁓ food episode too. We're gonna talk about food and wine here in a minute. It's just small bites. So don't think you're gonna go in there eating a bunch of a bunch of great big meals. Meatballs and tomato gravy, anti pasto, mini pretzels with bacon cheese fondue, tomato pie, oven roasted shrimp, roast beef sliders, theater concessions, which is a trio of meatballs, sugar cookie sugar cookie, and buttered popcorn, and many apple cider donuts. Then they have drinks like usual, and alcohol. I will be honest, since ⁓ Micah won't be there the night we get there, Terry. I I wouldn't mind swinging through here and seeing what it's like. Okay. I got no be the second the second night it's open. But I'm not saying we get something to eat or anything like that, but to go in and see what it's the atmosphere is. I never was in jelly rolls. I would like to see it 'cause I will say I was one of the first that when this came across I just was not impressed with the theming and everything. I just So hopefully once I go in it, maybe I will. But it just didn't do anything for me. But like the menu looks great. I wish more places in Disney would do small plates instead of whole meals because it's really hard to eat a whole meal. When it's hot in a theme park. Yeah. And you can't the taking leftovers is ridiculous 'cause you never eat on Yeah. You gotta go around. So it's the one we were in the at I ate that pizza for like three days. It was so good. Sh I was her roommate, I know. But I also wasn't there that my kids and things were like, you know, I could eat that for breakfast myself and not have to like go eat something. So I wish actually Disney would go to more, you know. Especially in the bar atmosphere like this, like you know if you went into Abra Abercadabar, it's going to be this. Even when you go into the theme parks and eat at fifty prime time, ⁓ I can't the the lounge that they have, like not being able to order food food, you can get, you know, small bites and a drink that would kind of help with ⁓ how these the bar seats kinda turn over instead of s people just sitting there for hours on end because they had something big to eat and they couldn't get into Ohana. But I I'm interested. I mean live music I I talked about when we first talked about this they when they announced this replacement, I like the the jazz lounge over at the Scat Cat Lounge at The French Quarter. So I'd I'm interested in seeing what this one's about. Well, it can't make reservations as of now. And it's not included in the dining plan, so just let's I'm all about ha trying some drinks. So while we're on food, have y'all did y'all ever eat Wolfgang Puck and Disney Springs? No not there. I mean in other places. We n we ate at it back in the day when it was it ⁓ the West Side. We go over the we a went and ate pizza there a couple times, enjoyed it. I had one in the marketplace. Close both of those and open the one that is now by the Coke store. We've never had it. So I can't I can't talk to it. But it closes on September thirteenth. It clearly wasn't doing that well or Wolfgang Puffer just like pulled his licensing. I'm supportive licensing. Yeah, I'm so supportive of our own podcast 'cause I'm gonna say this again. I listened to another podcast today when they were talking about it and This ⁓ I w I will sh this one's tour touring plans related, so they get ⁓ all these ⁓ reviews in for the book, the unofficial guide and all that stuff. They said most of their reviews they get for restaurants like Boathouse or Homecoming stuff like that are five five to six hundred reviews. They've got seventy from this place. It's not popular then. No, it's not too great. I we've walked by, but I've always thought I'd rather go to Chicken Guy. Or Plight Pig. It's not right. I mean it's it's there, but it's not right there with Wolfgang. I'd if we're on a if we're on our way out, it's usually gonna be Chicken Guy. We don't do Planet Hollywood too much. It's n this is not much of a a story besides it's gonna be an empty building until Disney decides to figure out what to do with it. Yeah. It didn't last long. It's only been there for a few years. The last big news, ⁓ Disney wise we have It actually came out today. So like we said, this is we're recording early on Tuesday. We r usually record on Thursdays. Candlelight Processional. I think this is probably the best lineup I have ever seen for Candlelight Processional. It's pretty good. I know pretty much everything. Yeah. Yeah, I was gonna say Can I just say Jason Kelsey will be a great time? I don't know about one. I don't know. I think it'd be funny. I know blasphemy. Yeah. He'll be a he'll be a v A breath of levity. So let me run through these right quick. ⁓ November seventh twenty-seventh through twenty-eighth is the is the Friday after Thanksgiving. So the kickoff of festival of the holidays. That's a long ⁓ it's the voice of Moana. I can't say her name. Can't say her name either. So I don't want to butcher it. The next one is Gary Sinise. Then we have a T B D for December two through three. Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Roberts, who is from ABC Good Morning America, right? Uh-huh. Jason Kelsey's December eighth through ninth. Neil Patrick Harris. Yeah, ⁓ no one cares about that. Neil Patrick Harris is ten through twelve, thirteenth through fourteenth is T B A. Lauren ⁓ Daigle, who's a Christian artist that was pretty popular a few years ago. Ralph Machio is on my birthday, which is Craigid. Henry Rink Winkler, the Fonz, twenty through twenty first, Lacey ⁓ Shabert, who is there to promote her Disney Christmas movie that was filmed in Disney World. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ Jody Banks. More on that later. What? No. I'm gonna watch it. I'm gonna watch it. I'll talk about it. I'll probably end up watching it with a wives, but Jody Benson, like I said, Simeu Li, who is ⁓ Shang-Chi from Shang-Chi movies, and Eva Longoria. Except like I said, I know everybody on this list. I don't know what these TVs are gonna be fun as. That's Ariel, the voice of Ariel. Okay. So right. Makes sense she's on Christmas. It does. She's a she's also a big Christian, so it's like. Makes sense that she's on Christmas for that reason too. Yeah, but how'd you get Christmas? I mean like I'm celebrating Christmas. I'm celebrating Christmas. I think she does. If she's a big Christian. Yeah. We believe that. We're right now our trip is planned for Thanksgiving weekend. So we we'd hear Moana this would be the first time we take Travis. So we'd be going to for the voice of Moana. ⁓ once again, I just don't want to butcher her name. I like I know bad. I feel like I should look it up because I feel like in my brain I know how to say it, but coming out of my mouth, it's not right. Not the same thing. I do the conversation going around the house right now is do we move it back to December twelfth? Because that's a Saturday before my birthday. And you can hear Neil Patrick Harris. And hear Neil Patrick Harris. ⁓ he would be so good. Great. When on the Pantheon of Disney like legends, and he's not necessarily a legend, but he's just a Disney fan legend. He's like the pinnacle. So to hear him do this in person would be great. And we did we did hear John Stamos, and I know we you know, Rachel loves John Stamos. She's very jealous that I saw him do this. But he's a pinnacle too. Like he understands the history that that that won't had with this. So Neil's the other one that like Jody would be good too. But I'm not I mean like Jason and I said when we watched the D twenty three stuff, Neil Patrick Harris seemed genuinely excited for the announcements that were happening. Like he definitely like was looking at the screen and excited. So to have someone who loves the parks and the things as much as we do, like to be able to do this, like you can tell when I've seen the videos of him doing it, how he truly enjoys being there and doing it. And I I think that like if you I I don't think if you go watch the YouTube live that they did a few years ago through Disney Parks Live, they don't do those anymore. Neil Patrick was the one they chose to do it. And his is great. I have it on my phone. I listen to it just about every Christmas. It's right before Rise like it was twenty nineteen. It was before COVID hit because I got to rise ride rise of resistance. It's a per So it's it's great. It's hilarious. He takes it in stride, but then when it gets time to be serious, he gets serious and he does that the correct way. Do you not say anybody else? I wish was come back. Look, I kinda hope one of the T V Ds is Josh Gad because he also does a a good job. Yeah. He's been doing it for a few years now, so it's surprising not to see him on here. Maybe he is wanting to nail it down. I think Gary's I'd we'd have to get with Taylor, but Gary's is probably lining up when the When he has his his foundation there, yeah. But like I said, those we don't have packages yet for the mills that give you reserve seats. Mhm. These this year for sure you want to have that b meal package. Yeah, 'cause you don't have like a lot of these like some of the other things, sometimes you can have some like B list and C list people, especially like during the week when it's not the weekends, but we don't really have that right now. No. Unless like I think the s the people that would be slower, quote unquote, would probably be your Lacey, would be your Harry, would be your Ralph Ralph, that like that week leading up to Jason Kelsey. Yeah, Jason definitely would be kind of. Jason Jason's a little bit bigger right now just 'cause the podcast with yeah his rubber. So well him and his wife have been huge into Disney. Like she even filmed her podcast from Disney. Disneyland Paris, I think, right? Yeah. So like that's this is all big big people. So you will definitely want to have that up. That package. The only other one I want to go to is ⁓ Disneyland when they do theirs because they actually do theirs on Main Street. And I need a plan of they don't ever release the date. It's all speculation on when they do it and who's going to do it. It's two nights. But you have to be invited to be able to sit down. Otherwise you can stand on the streets and watch it. But I would stand and watch because it's it's the legit candlelight processional. Move to Universal for right quick. Just two quick news. ⁓ Universal Hollywood. They've officially said September 16th is going to be Fast and Furious Hollywood. Drift opens in Hollywood Studios out there in Hollywood or Universal Studios in Hollywood. Exciting. They had to do some stuff to make sure that people couldn't hear ⁓ yell in the neighborhoods. So that's all done. Thank you. Yeah, they had they were having some complaints from my understanding. So that got that kind of rectified. I don't know how they rectified it in a few weeks slash months. But that's ⁓ I think they wanted to have it open for HHN for people to kind of relieve the pressure because the HHN lines out at in Hollywood are like two hours. Yeah, I saw. It's not great. And then over here in Florida, Universal has I think they announced their team members. I don't think they put it out to the official announcement yet. Animal Actors will be closing November second. This is one of the last attractions from opening day. Have y'all done that? Nova loved it and literally like pitched a fit to go down to the stage to pet the dogs after. Like he loved it. ⁓ I think we should do it during A T ten. Yeah, 'cause it's open. It'll be open. When we get there too. Go do the r go do the houses and then do the show right quick and then be like, Okay. I'm not gonna cute. It's it's good. Are you not a birds fan? Rachel would be Rachel's madest. Do you not remember in Disneyland when we were on jungle cruise and all those birds were coming over? I was pretty much trying to crawl to the middle of the boat. I don't remember. Is it all birds or ch ⁓ not little like chickens? Chickens I'm fine with. I don't like ducks. I don't really like anything that flies, so I don't really love bugs, but birds are terrifying. I don't like birds. It's because they're dinosaurs. Maybe. They're tiny velociraptors, probably. My chickens don't bother me. So a little bit of ⁓ create universal creative talking here. There's rumor that there's no rumor. On in twenty twenty eight, that's gonna be the end of Simpsons in Universal. So you have that, you have Animal Actors right next to that. They have a theater behind in the DreamWorks area that they could demolish. It's ⁓ it's a show, but it's not popular for DreamWorks. It's a big chunk of land. It is they could do a lot. They could make a whole new land. Yes, they could make a whole new Pokemon land or a new Zelda land or something. You know, everybody's saying Zelda and and It makes more sense in IOA though. Yeah. Yeah. I w Pokemon I feel like is if they wanted moneymaker, that's Pokemon would fit studios more. I feel like Zelda fits IOA way more. Yeah. I think I think Pokemon fits that area of studios because you have the kids right there. Yeah. They can easily take the hurl and whirl ride and turn that into like an easy Pokemon type ride if they wanted a similar ride out there. It's it's something to look forward to. ⁓ that goes back to Universal spinning off, potentially being spun off in the theme parks. That they don't care. They're still gonna put stuff out there. They're trying to still create a better experience. The last attraction for Universal Studios, I think. Is going to be E.T. That's the last original opening. Once that and that's supposed to go down next year for a lengthy refurbishment. So Okay. That's a that's a big positive. Yeah. Yeah. Because I know how much y'all just love E.T. and make fun of me for loving it. We didn't make fun of E.T. It's a Disney ride in Universal. And that's why you love it. It will be open when we go to the H H N so we can. ⁓ right Easy. I mean if you guys want to, I'm just along for the ride. Yeah, you are because it's a ride. That's gonna do it for this little note news part. We're gonna take a quick break, come back and talk, food and wine festival. Are you dreaming of your next adventure but overwhelmed by planning? Mention our podcast to be connected with one of our agents you were listening to. And we're back. We're in the middle of the food and wine festival. And by middle I mean it's still the early stages of it. And I understand that a lot of the times we sit here and talk through menus of like what's new at HHN, like we did last week or two weeks ago. In the past, talk about the flowering garden and then Food and wine. It's hard to talk about all this food and get honest reactions. So I what I challenged ⁓ the ladies with is find three things on the menu that you wanted to try, and that's how we're gonna do this. So that we don't talk about everything, bore y'all with that. It should be noted that the challenge that cause Terry's doing H H N again this year, Terry and my wife Bethany are going to be giv picking out food again for me to try and eat. ⁓ because we're going the Friday night before HHN. So Terry can get all the revenge she wants on me before I make her go through at least one scare one house. I'm I may have to be like my flight gets in so late that night, I'll be like, Hey, if you guys are coming back from Epcot Terry, pick me this up for me and bring it back to the room so I can eat it when I get there. Sure, definitely do that. There we go. So right quick, the dates for the food and wine festival, October twenty-seventh through November twenty first. Most of the kiosks are already open. ⁓ however, there are a few that will open on October 2nd. So the day we're going to do this, it's gonna be their opening day. So we get to experience some of this stuff. ⁓ they have two gift card wristlets this year for the minimum minimum of $15 activations. One's Mickey, one's Donald Duck. These all the kiosks this year are cashless. So you have to have a gift card, debit card, Apple Pay, ⁓ Android Pay, whatever there is. You're you're gonna want Magic Band. Magic band. So personally we always do a the small gift cards. That's what I gave Terry for last year. I loaded up a gift card, said here you go, have at it. Get me food. I use my Apple Watch. Yeah, I use my magic band. So there you go. Three forms of payment. They all work. And usually what I do with with my wife, and I'm not trying to be like dictatorship, but she g I put like seventy five dollars on 'cause she's very adventurous on eating and she just goes and eats that way. That's just I'm not very adventurous. And you might see from my list. She has the escargot croissant from fr in the France pavilion everywhere. My husband would love that. Anything from anything that's the crab cakes or shrimp, those types of things, he would love all of it. I don't like the taste of snot. So there you go. It's not the taste, it's a consistency. Yeah. I don't care what it tastes like. The texture. I don't like the texture of snot either. So ⁓ Terry, let's start with you. What what are your three items that you would like to try? Are we doing like a a starter We I care. Y'all can do three and a dessert. Whatever three I want to do. I still haven't even picked out what I want to try. Screenshots, because I was writing them down, then I like, Well, let me take screenshots because the descriptions are actually screenshots. I didn't want to like write so the first was the first one is not What I would have chosen, so it doesn't count. I'm gonna make sure it doesn't count. But it's one that everyone's talking about and I'm gonna try it. So that is the griddle cheese in Greece. Mm. Passachios and honey. Everyone's tried it. Literally every not even influencer, 'cause I don't want I know that sounds bad, but I don't want to insult with people by calling them influencers. Mm-hmm. People I follow that vlog about Disney, they talk about it, they they've made their, you know, This is their thing. They get in as media members and everything. That's what everyone's raved about is the griddled cheese. It's in grease and like Micah said, it's it looks like it's just cheese that's been melted on a griddle. It's kinda hard on each side with pistachios and honey. So we're gonna try that, but that's not on my list. It's melted cheese. What do you have against melted cheese, Jason? Right. Puta pistachio though, right? Yeah. Given that allergy. No, I just don't like that. Okay, well then well you know, now that cheese has to smell better than it's that has to smell better than when you go by the Swiss thing and it's ⁓ reclet cheese and it smells like stinky feet. Definitely reclut is on my list. Somebody said that one sm actually tastes really good. It smells horrible but tastes good. Yeah. I mean stinky cheese is good. Now that you brought it up, Micah, the Reclette is number one on my list and that is the Elf. And I said every it must be ⁓ Everything in my thing is basically cheese. You're gonna be comfortable. I don't know what kind of era I'm in right now, but she can eat all that nasty food from H H N and she won't have to worry about going to the bathroom. It's probably you know. But it's a warm raclet Swiss cheese on a baguette with I'm not even gonna butcher the handbone or whatever the French say it, and apple mustard relish. So That's literally a grilled cheese if you think about it, Jason. It kind of is. Red cheese and apple mustard relish. I don't like relish. Now I haven't gotten to do a ton at food and wine in the past. Can you customize any of these things? Like take things out. You can, but I don't think they like it just 'cause of how fast they're trying to get this stuff out. Correct, 'cause they make it in the batches. No between. But as far as like If you say no whipped cream, that's easy. But if you say like I don't want green peppers in these, that's gonna be a little Yeah, I don't want onions in this or whatever. I think it's probably mass produced and 'cause if they it's on the little tidy plates ready to go. But am I doing all three of them out at once? The next one is the fry basket. Ooh, I so are you doing the flight? The flight at the fry basket. Those truffle fries are so good. Yeah. Yeah. My only worry is that they're gonna be over truffled. Again, hold on, let me It's 'cause it's sea salt, malt vinegar fries, so that's one of ⁓ Then truffle parmesan fries with black garlic truffle aioli. So I'm hoping they're not over over truffle, 'cause that gets a little strong. And then the third is the sweet potato casserole fries with cinnamon shrimp. Those are so good too. And marshmallow cream. So good. It's hard to mess up fries. The only way you can mess up fries is to make them soggy. No, they're so when I got I got this blight and it was really good. My least favorite play, the salt, the sea salt and vinegar. Like they just were kind of to me that tastes like a normal fry. And I also have the fry basket on my list. Fry basket. And then my third I gotta if I only have three. I'm gonna go in the fry basket the fry flight is at the fry basket. Let me say that in case anyone is taking notes of our little podcast here. The other one, I should have put these in order when I screenshot them. Sorry. Give me a second. Talk amongst yourselves. The butternut squash and ginger bisque. And that's a cinnamon cream, toasted pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seed oil. No, it didn't sound bad. I love a good soup. Yeah, do you like a good soup in the middle of summer? No, but I just if all things there like I the weirdly when we tried the filet last year and the Ragu whatever in Japan, those are my least favorite things. So things that I was nasty though. It was but like now and I will say I was a little I tried not to be influenced, but I was a little influenced because a lot of people that like I said I've been watching and not on purpose, it's just on my feed. Mm-hmm the dumplings have not and I love a good dumpling, but no one has said anything good about them this year. Mm-hmm. You know, they're ⁓ the biggest comment has been they taste like the same ones you can get out of the freezer section and fry up at home in a saucepan. There's nothing, you know, they're they're kinda chewy, they're not good. So that's I got a lot of my options. 'Cause I do like a good dumpling, but I didn't choose any of them. I think that's though gonna be a festival thing in general is that we have a bunch of this stuff that's pre made. Yeah, that's what so like the Brazilian cheese bread that we had last year. Mm-hmm. That seems like it's gonna be something that's like frozen in the back and they just throw it in the oven real fast. But it's so Did we like that? I did. I loved it. It was okay. It wasn't like That's what I was saying. It's on my list and then I bad actually said that 'cause I have a star beside it. A literal star. Cause I was like, I feel like we ate that. Did we like it? Because I put it on my list and then I was like, It wasn't memorable. But then I had the cheddar bacon soup. I mean, like, I heard that last year. I got that last year. So I just don't get soup in the middle of the summer. It was good. It was like to mix it up. You know, you've had like solid things. It's nice to have a I just don't know if I could ever eat it again 'cause that's when that kid up chucked in the trash can while that is that poor kid. We're not making fun of him. It was disgusting. We're not making fun of him. It was weird. We were in the wrong spot at the wrong time. We were in the wrong spot. And we're glad that the little the little boy feels better. And his mother was very apologetic. She was. We've all been there, but it was disgusting. Okay. What's is that was your number two? No, that was my three. Okay. Micah, what are yours? Okay, I know you can pretty much get this anywhere, but those garlic palm wings look so good. ⁓ the They're all about some garlic palm palm r wings and chicken, aren't you? It's literally my favorite flavor. The two best flavors to go together on chicken. So good. And it doesn't look like it's spicy. Sometimes like if you go to like Buffalo Wild Wings, their garlic parmesan is spicy and I can't do that. This doesn't look spicy. It looks so good. Since Terry said the fry basket, I'm gonna do a different one. 'Cause that was on my list. I also thought the beer braised beef at the Belgian booth looked really good. It's on smoked Gouda mashed potatoes. Like so that beef on top with the smoked gouda mashed potatoes. Chasty mashed potatoes. ⁓ I'm gonna do an out for a dessert. And then I also have a drink. I got this when we were there before, but it's the Oahu sunrise, or when I was there, they called it the Alani sunrise. And it's just an alcoholic beverage, vodka, dull wet pineapple juice, and grenadine. Nothing super special, but it has a really pretty flower on it. But I really want to try drinks. Huh? I did three separate drinks. I also have different drinks. But I really want to try because I'm a big Bluey fan. I really want to try the Mixed Berry Pavlova. Like I really want to try that one. That sounds good. Yeah, it looks it's a it's a crunchy meringue shell. With mass cate masquerated, no mask whatever. They smash up the berries and then whipped cream. Macerated. Macerated. That's why I can't say it. But those are like so the wings, the beer braised beef and the pavlova, those are like the foods I would want to get. I do have three drinks as well, along with that at Wahoo Sunrise. I have two others. I don't have any drinks, but I have I have my I think I have some food picked. 'Cause I'm just there's also a mac and cheese I want to try. There's a lot of so I'm gonna start with the southern African cream liqueur chocolate and mousse, because I'm a big chocolate fan. So with white chocolate ganache and chocolate covered popping candy. I don't know if I'm gonna like the popping candy, but yeah, it looks good. It's chocolate. Okay, it's good. I could go with three of those. I could probably be one and done. No, no. You have to try other things. The grilled Bush I don't know what a bushberry is, but the grilled bushberry spiced shrimp skewer. That would That sounds good. What the Australia booth. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I'm a shrimp person. I can do those, so Yeah, but seafood and a theme part freaks me out. We talked about that about H H N it does, but at the same time it's like, okay. Shrimp doesn't freak me out as much as fish, I will say. Right. ⁓ what was the other one? Trying to find it. That's two solid choices. Yeah. Was it mac and cheese? Might have been. I don't the brisket. It wasn't it was not wings. It was a cheese and brisket slider. So that's the one like if we could customize it and take the onions off, I would totally eat it. The three cheese macaroni and cheese. Looks so good. It looks good. I'm not a huge Panko fan on it, but I would Usually that's just dusted on top. As it usually, yeah, that's a good thing about here is I just kinda dust it. It's not even baked on there really. I think it's it's fine to go around and have those and if I don't like any of it, it's just good. The chocolate I'll eat. I'll don't care. You don't even like like the cheese platter they offered? I'm not a huge cheese person. Like I can I can ⁓ my goodness. Yeah, I I love cheese. Give me just some a cheeseburger's fine, but I'm not I don't wanna eat just cheese. Love cheese. But it's also like over here, I'm a Muppets fan, as y'all know. But if you go over to the Brewing Lab in the Odyssey, they have the The pickle milkshake, which is a Muppet thing, and then the frozen pomegranate and raspberry teas. I'm not gonna get those it's just cause they have Vincent and Honeydew on ⁓ I don't want ⁓ I don't want pickles and milk. I don't pickle anyway. Anything. Now, did I eat dill pickle chips today? The lazy dill pickle chips. Porkbelly lettuce wraps look good. I don't like lettuce better than a milkshake. Yeah. Yeah. Lettu spray. Man, the pork belly lettuce wraps look good. Well ⁓ do y'all want to mention y'all's mu y'all's drinks? If y'all want Yeah, we'll mention drinks. 'Cause I'm fine. Sounds bad. If you put alcohol in front of me, I'll drink it. So I know. Whenever you drank at Disneyland, whatever, that terrible drink. That Negroni that you drank. I hate Negronies. That was absolutely horrible. It's like he was drinking rubbing alcohol. I was like, just give me it smelled like I was drinking rubbing alcohol. All right, what were your drinks? My drinks were the spiced apple slushie and the lime coutinery. Mm-hmm. ⁓ it's frozen ginger beer with lime and spice apple flavors, and I would get that with the iceberg Canadian vodka in it. So alcoholic slushy sounds good. Yeah. You know, ginger and apple, great combination. The next one I was I have to choose. The ⁓ this one in China surprised me that I didn't think that I would you know, you don't think of China and alcoholic beverages almost. It was the Hainan Prosperity. It's tequila, vodka, orange juice and mango. And I was like, I love orange juice and mango together. Add tequila and vodka. Can't be bad, you know? And then ⁓ do do do do do let me see. ⁓ this is not a specialty drink, but they are serving cane Caymus Vineyards, it's my favorite wine. It's expensive. It's like a hundred dollars a bottle. So I don't buy it that often. Like ever. But they serve it there by the glass and it's only thirteen dollars a glass. Which is probably not a glass. It's probably like this much. Yeah. Because like if you go to a restaurant, it's like one of those, it's like thirty six dollars a glass. Again, don't eat it often, but I'm glad it's there because I love it. So that would not be my third one. I think it's another one. It's the it's called a cherry nostalgia and it's in Mexico, I think. And it's tequila, botanical liqueur, cherry and lime with a hibiscus salt rim. And it kinda just tastes, you know, like a cherry margarita almost if you get the cherry and the lime. Almost like a cherry lime ish. Like with the lime. Yeah. I usually love cherry, so like that and they also have a I like the fruit passion margarita they have, which is a tequila mascow, tangy passion fruit, and citrus juice, but it had a salty chili rim and I do not like a spicy margarita. I don't like a spicy margarita. No. Yeah. But that one also is not bad. You said the spicy strawberry? No, the ⁓ passion fruit one. Okay. ⁓ sorry, I I went out a little second. I'm making sure this print doesn't Like but like Micah said, if you could just order that one and say, Hey, just don't don't rim it, then I think that would also be a very good one. I'm gonna cut in and just say because I only have one that's like sparked interest. But like the good thing about us is when we go do something like this, we're all gonna try each other's drinks. Like we're all just like here, have a sip. Mm-hmm. Spicy strawberry mango smoothie. I'm not a smoothie person, but it has a Minute Made strawberry smoothie mix with a spicy mango syrup. The alcohol the spirited version is available with old smoky strawberry moonshine. So that would that's the one that like really like Okay. I would do that. It is but it's spicy. I wish they wouldn't make it spicy. I know, I I can't I was on board. You know how do you make it when we said drinks, my only alcoholic one is that Oahu sunrace that I said. My other ones are not. Wow. Did you choose the mango peach bubble tea? 'Cause I chose that one too. No, I don't like mango. I don't like mango or passion fruit. ⁓ gosh. All Michael, were your three? So ⁓ the Oahu sunrise. I already said that one. And no surprise here, there's a coffee on my list, the cinnamon pretzel cold brew. I was wondering. So that looks really good. It's like Joffrey's cold brew coffee with sweet cream, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and pretzel pieces. So like a salty sweet. That just sounded really, really good. And then the other one is gonna be let's see if I can get ⁓ the Rimmy's milkshake. It's a strawberry cheesecake milkshake topped with. Cookie, mini cheesecake, white chocolate, Eiffel Tower, and a strawberry. It's non-alcoholic, but I love strawberry cheesecake. It's one of my favorite like ice cream flavors. And I just love it. Can you get it spiked? Spirited. It says dairy in not that it doesn't go great together. And I wouldn't necessarily want it to be because I have to drink the A non alcoholic and alcoholic version. Yeah. Most of them they can add the alcohol. That's like the the the ch this the slushie I was talking about, the first one. Yeah. You can get that one without the vodka. Which is great 'cause if you have kids they can try everything yeah as well. I don't remember seeing on the weekend. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, they have a bunch of mimosas and things like that. And I'm not ⁓ Big they have a strawberry champagne trifle. It just happened to be the one that was on my screen. You said that a mimosa flight and then a tropical ⁓ mimosa. ⁓ no, the mimosa flight is a tropical mimosa, a berry mimosa, and then a blood orange mimosa. And I think Robert and I got the flight and I wasn't impressed by any of them. I also think the frozen s'mores looks good, but Yeah, I s I saw that one. I was gonna say something about that. Jason, you can eat this slow roasted pork slider in Hawaii. It's got a sweet and sour chutney, adult pineapple and spicy mayonnaise on a Hawaiian roll. This one with the spam, eggs, eel sauce. Mm mm. There's your Oahu sunrise. That does look good though. Yeah, it's good. And it sneaks up on you. We're gonna like I said we We're doing H H like I said, we're doing H H N on October second or third. What day? Third. I sure hope it's the third. That's what I bought all my tickets for. I think it's the third. I haven't bought yet. Are they sold out yet? No, we're buying ours Thursday.
