And now, sharing their hottest takes and best tips. Here are your hosts, Jason, Micah, Rachel, and Terry. Welcome to episode sixty three of Castles of the Coldwins. I'm your host, Jason Davis, here with Micah and Terry. Rachel is out. She you know, we're going to Disneyland next week. Or this week when you hear it. As usual, we're recording this on Thursday before. So Micah and I will be heading out to Disneyland in California. Rachel's just kind of doing the get stuff together, you know, last minute stuff with the agency, trying to make sure everything's going smooth. So, you know, she will be missed. But ⁓ to take Rachel's place this week we have Heather Barnett with Magical Travel. She's ⁓ a wonderful agent over there. Heather, how are you tonight? I'm great. ⁓ Can you tell us? I'm glad you're here. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and maybe like how long you've been doing this and ⁓ what really got you into magical travel and doing travel stuff? I just started doing travel a little over a year ago. This is my anniversary month. Happy anniversary. Yes, happy anniversary. I've worked in healthcare for thirty five years and I was tired of it, which I still do so. So you know the bedside manor for travel agency. Yes. It's good to have you on and it's good to have you in the agency. So we're gonna kick off the show with some news. Heather's gonna talk about some Disney weddings. She has a lot of experience with that in her life, so she wanted to talk about that and I wanna know more about it 'cause we looked into it, but it just wasn't feasible for us at the time. ⁓ so starting the news, my favorite announcement, probably my favorite piece of news we're gonna talk about. H H N announced its next house. So we got the Jack and Oddfellow house was announced a few months ago. This one is based off of the Warner Brothers movie Centers. It was one of the best picture nominees. There was a lot of best actors, best soundtrack. I mean it was huge and I've there. Yeah, for Disney people, Ryan Kuklid, who directed Black Panther, directed this movie. And Michael B. Jordan starred in it, who was also in Black Panther. Right. I'm excited for it. I haven't watched And then Hayley Stein what is her name? Haley Steinfeld. She was in Hawkeye. Yes. Mm-hmm. Kind of a crossover from Marvel into this. Yeah. And it's a vampire house. There's a big vampire story. So can we just say that I had no clue that movie was about vampires? Did you watch it? No, like all the previews, I never would have guessed that the movie was about vampires. Doesn't Michael B. Jordan play like twins or brothers or something like that? Yeah. Which would be brothers. Yeah. Twins are b they tend to be brothers. And it's like in New Orleans, which is like a, you know, cra you know, it does isn't it based there and New Orleans is kind of a vampire town. It's got a lot of I feel like I need to watch it to maybe understand the how. I'm I need to watch it myself. ⁓ my friend that I always go to H H N with watched it when it first came to theaters. He said it was amazing. I love horror movies, so I just need I just haven't had time to sit down and watch it. It's on my HBO watch list though. So it's I mean I think it'll be a good fit. Like I feel like as popular as it was, like movie last year and how well it did. with best actors and all that stuff. I think it's a good fit for H H N. Especially when it comes to original movies. Like it's not a it's a horror movie based off original ideas versus I was about to say the same thing. And I don't remember I mean obviously I kept my head down a lot last year. I hate horror stuff, Heather. If in case you didn't know, I I hate H H N none of it. ⁓ I don't remember a lot of vampire stuff last year. Was there a vampire centric house? So I think this is a really good addition 'cause If I did have to choose a genre of horror that I did like, I really like vampire diaries, so vampires might be my favorite. I don't think that's horror though. No, but I like the vampire lore, like I said. It's it's it's it's I don't know. Interesting to me. It doesn't have that scariness so much as it Yeah. Like somebody going to suck your blood isn't as scary as, you know a murderer, the a scary clown named Art. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Or like dolls. Like Yeah. The dolls are creepier to me than like Robert was watching one of those movies the other day. One of the ones with art in it. What are they called? Terrifier. I don't know which one it was, but it was just disgusting. I was in the corner reading and I was like, Can we just turn this off? It's really terrible. It's like one of those movies you watch it's it's supposed to be a comedy, but it's like all the comedy is just bad words. Or like Topless girls and you're this is not funny. You're just seeing how much crazy could pet get a I think that's how like their gore, how much gross gore is that they can get away with it. So disgusting. I hate every minute of it. I always I always call it gore porn because that's just what it is, just an on card gore gore and how much they can put in there. So Heather, you're not an H H N person then? Not no. No. I couldn't convince you some of us. I don't even want scary movies. Me neither. I don't like scary movies. Terry made it through. It'd be you could do it. I literally went through most of the houses like this. Like I was never at the end or the front because I knew that's where they would like try to get you the most. Right. And usually I followed like right behind her, right in front of Micah and I was like like this looking at the back of her. Yeah. It's like one of those walk through haunted houses where they have jump stairs. It was and then like there's crazy things you walk through as you're walking through Universal. And a lot of those were entertaining. They weren't as s scary, but the characters do like come right up to you. And so it's a little creepy. We've talked about plenty of times. Terry ⁓ went through terrifier with goggles and shoe ⁓ shoe coverings and like a poncho because they were supposed to be rain water at some points in it. And she was full of They literally said it would flood the house. And I was like, Well, I don't want to get wet all night. It just smelled so bad in there. It was not great. It was not great. The smells, but it was still fun. It was better like the last weekend we went because like they really turned up the water on it and it it I really got my wife. I just walked slowly. They the Micah, Terry, and ⁓ Heather, Kalia and Rachel all got mad because I was walking really slow. And Jason was trying to be slow and walk slow across the thing, and we we waited till he got across and then we ran. Yeah. Goodness. Because we didn't want to get wet. We still had other houses to go. We were so busy trying to h hit every house we didn't get to review the food, Heather. So I told them this year if we do it again, while they're in the houses, I'll go around and do the food reviews. Yeah. We'll collaborate in the end. So we do. Yes, we had a whole list of food we wanted to try and it was ⁓ just We we had to hit every house. We started like six PM and we still didn't leave till like two AM. We got there like at five thirty. Yeah. We were so exhausted. So Because I most of us flew in that day and I had been up since and my room or like the room for Terry and I wasn't even ready till like four PM. So we just sat in the lobby of the hotel and then 'Cause we had gotten up and flown there and my flight was a super early flight, but then I took a delayed flight to get credit. So I was like at the airport at six AM and didn't get back to our room till after two. Like it was it was a long day. I was crashing around midnight. Yeah. Let's move on from horror as much as I like to talk about it, but we got a lot of news we want to talk about, and of course the wedding stuff. Hagrid's This ⁓ Universal just randomly announced the other day Hagrid's has been moved off of Express start starting July first or June thirtieth. I can't remember the exact date. It's the end of the month. That's ⁓ that's a big blow. I know why. Or so one of the speculations I read was that it couldn't like its downtime so high that the express it couldn't handle the express and the standby. So the standby naturally came longer. I I read a theory. though that with the express now that Universal has put out, that that's what they're going to go to is a pay the paid one time ride express for it. And so like ⁓ the new page. Yeah, I mean it's it they've they're doing it every day in all on all three parks now for ⁓ So why not put your e-ticket posters? So Fast and Furious is the rumor to happen when it comes online in studios, and that they would put something like ⁓ Stardust Racers or Hiccup or something like that over at Epic onto this. ⁓ I I'm not saying it would happen, but it sure does make sense because you could lower the express pass. Yeah. You know, you're paying so you give them a little bit more of a benefit to get through the line faster. I just wonder if there'll be like a comparison to like Disney's pricing on it. Cause like when we were just at Disney this weekend, I mean I paid twenty dollars a person for Tron. Because we had someone in the group who'd never ridden it. So I think it would be depending on the weekend and stuff like that. I haven't looked at any of it myself on because I haven't been in the parks suit to do so. But this isn't official. I'm just I wouldn't be surprised that you know, whether it's the end of the s like later this summer or even the day that this goes off of Express Pass. And this is like annual pass, express pass. This is your deluxe hotel. Express passes. No one has access to it through Express. Just like it used to be. Like I mean, literally last year it was the same way. It was just a year ago, a couple couple of days ago that popped up saying it was ExpressPass for a year. You can still use your ⁓ IPAA stuff, your medical to get through. So just know that's always gonna be separate from Express Pass. But that's that was big news though. They're one of the more popular attractions coming off Express. Yeah. I I w I also saw something I'm sure you did too, like where it was just saying like when you were look when they were looking at the numbers and how long it was making the standby wait. And also Hagrid's is notorious for going down and then just how long the express line was, like it just it was adding more time to it than it was like taking like then it just wasn't worth it. More people were complaining about how long the wait was. And it's still also in the early entry. So if you get to the park that morning Run straight back. You're waiting twenty five minutes, forty minutes to rubber. That's my favorite way to ride it. And it's a great ride in the morning because it's kinda cool. We waited a long time in the express line when we didn't care in September. Like we waited a long time. We did. But like when we went in March, we didn't ride it because we didn't get express passed because we were in the middle of the week and like literally we didn't have to wait in line for any rides. I don't think. But Hagrid's was never less than forty five, sixty minutes. I mean And I my kids by you know, they were like, We just don't wanna wait that long 'cause they were exhausted. 'Cause we kept kinda trying to go back to it and I would check my phone and the app and it just never went below forty five minutes. That was the shortest we found it. By the time we did everything else, they were like, No, we just don't want to wait in line that long. I was like, I get it. I get it. So I think for me sixty is probably the longest I'd wait if I'm there by myself or with a group. Mm-hmm. But I don't have to write it. I've I've ridden it enough where it's fun, it's great. If we skip it, we skip it. Mm-hmm. The last bit of universal news, they finally gave us an reel an opening day for Universal Kids Resort in Frisco Tex, Texas. That's July first. This was very at random. Mm-hmm. Really quick, like to give us a date and be like, you got six weeks or whatever it was. Yeah. Six weeks. It was like June first. They said, Hey, by the way, it's opening in a month. Yeah. The pri there have like a half day ticket there. I don't know how much y'all have looked into this stuff. They have a one day, a half day, and a two day ticket, if I remember right. Maybe a three. And then hotels were like starting at three hundred dollars. So I hope it's good. Yeah. Yeah. It's a it's a good little experience. It's a fourteen hour drive for us to drive to Frisco to go to this place. I'm trying to look and see what's around it. You're really close to Dallas. Like you're really close to Dallas. You fly into Dallas Fort Worth. As far as like other like amusement kind of like can you justify the three hundred dollars because it's like like you said, or you know, by the time you drive to Dallas and pay Dallas prices, you're gonna pay that plus a drive. So you know what I'm saying? Like are they kind of an island there where you're kinda like stuck paying it? 'Cause it's a jump but There's stuff in Frisco. You could easily stay in hotels close by without having to stay on property. They're also trying to market this as potentially becoming a full on resort. So there might be like a kids' water park type thing. Mm-hmm. So you'll have they did buy enough land to put another park there. So that would be the the reason why you can stay in a hotel. Mm-hmm. Is there a perk like for staying in the hotel? Like do you get early and treated as Honestly, I haven't looked at it too much. I don't I don't have any clients asking about it. Right. I was curious for myself because if ⁓ we went out there this year I would and I want to take Travis before it gets too old 'cause this is stuff he likes with ⁓ Shrek and Trolls, Minions, Jurassic Park. He would he would get a kick out of a lot of it. I don't we're gonna be close 'cause I'll be there in September and I thought about looking at it but My mom didn't really want to go to a kids' resort. She wants to drive down to Waco and go to Magnolia Farms with Chip and Joanna Gaines stuff. So she wants to do that. So instead we're going opposite direction. I would probably be on the same bus as your mom. Yeah. I would go to the kids' resort. I would chip and Joanna aren't my favorite, but if I do that over a kids' resort There's a coaster there, I would ride the coaster and the Jurassic World one looks pretty fun. Like it's like a suspended coaster. I would do that in a heartbeat. Let's move over to Walt Disney World for a few minutes. We'll start with Mary Blair's Alice in Wonderland is what's the inspiration for the magic of animation playground. This is the inside of what they just redid in Disney Sidewood Studios that was the ⁓ Star Wars Launch Bay. Launch Bay, yeah. Have y'all seen videos or pictures of everything in that? Like the outside? ⁓ my god. It looks amazing. Like so ⁓ First off, I'm excited for Mary Blair's inspiration inside 'cause Mary Blair, you know, she a lot of the ⁓ the work when it came to s ⁓ I'm going blank now. Storybo boards for different movies, like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland was one of the big ones. And ⁓ they actually drew a lot of inspiration from her work to do Alice in Wonderland. So to see that being the playground, that's really cool. But the actual outside, the videos I've seen, they have Little statues of all the animated characters throughout. So you can see Zazu, you can see Lucy Cat. They're all over the place. And then add on top of it is because the characters that are meeting inside, some of them are already out walking around. So like Rapunzel's playing with the kids and Goofy's playing. You see Pluto running around, Chip and Delvin out there. I think it's a great little addition. I can't wait to go in and see what they do for the inside, but the outside looks amazing in and of itself. And I like use like lesser known characters like you said like I'm looking at now ⁓ like Zazu and the Shesher is that the or I know if that's the that same cat and then Thumper. Thumper and then like the pig from ⁓ yeah. And then they have like a little hydrant a fire hydrant with Astroturf. It's like Pluto's corner. So but that came f straight from the studios though. Like the whole area remember is designed after Walt Disney Studios in Burbank and that Pluto's corner is a is a corner in the studio. It's a Cinderella mice. It's great. Up on top of something. And there's a boo. I do like that. And they have like the hands and the Yeah, the hand prints like in front of the gu ⁓ gu the Chinese theater. But instead it's like Cinderella and Maui and all that and it's in front of the the building. They have the the Zootopia, the snake. And then I don't know. I haven't seen the news Utopia. Girl with the big hair, the mafia daughter with the big hair, like the Snookie. They have them though. That's really cute. Snooky. Snooky. We watched the shorts for that. They're so funny. I really like that they just randomly put those in there too. They there was no mention whatsoever when they announced it that they were gonna put these characters in. So when they did, it just adds A little bit more to it. And that there's green space to be able to sit and relax. They put some benches in there that are undercover trestles. So it's like, okay, you can actually relax here. Mm-hmm. It took them how long for Toy Storyland to get in shape. Yeah. ⁓ that new little like snack thing was actually really cute. Like the new snack thing that popped up in Toy Storyland where you can get like popcorn and stuff. One next to the bathrooms across from the bottom. Yeah. It was like Very busy when we walked. Yes. That's what it was. What are they not they're spring rolls, pizza spring rolls. Yes. That's right. That's what they brought over there. Those are at Typhon Lagoon for ⁓ Bow Nights too. Well while we're speaking of food, Disney Springs food trucks close next month also. Do you know where I'm even talking about? Yes. They're ⁓ right next to the sp Starbucks. Mm-hmm. Over by Cirque du Soleil. There was like a Mac mac and cheese one. There was a barbecue one. I I think a vegan and maybe a salad. We always ate the mac and cheese. My mo my wife loves that one. So we'd go in there and she'd get whatever she wanted in that thing. And it was a good late night before movie type thing. I'm I'm sad to see him go. I'm excited I wanna know what they're gonna do with that space because that's a pretty big empty space without food trucks. But they've slowly gotten rid of a lot of the food trucks throughout. That was a big COVID thing, I think, and pre COVID. Mm-hmm. Outside and people not on top of each other. They've already pulled one out, ⁓ from what I've seen. I don't know which one it was, but just if that's one of your favorite things to do, don't expect to see ⁓ here soon. ⁓ enjoy it soon. We opened this. Disney, there was a it was the last week, I think, where Royal Caribbean announced some changes coming to the the way they're decorating the rooms, or how you can decorate your rooms. Disney has followed suit with this. And they released some new guidelines for decorating. The big one is Carnival started with it last year with decorating rooms and what you are allowed and not allowed to. Well let's just go ahead and get the like the the elephant in the room and they like a lot of the stuff was like this the upside down pineapples that people were putting around. So they kind of put a shagwash to that. No pineapples. Yes. But you know, the tradition of decorating your your state room is is always been fun. I I have clients. In fact I reached out to one because we're going on a cruise in about a month and I was like, Hey, I need to know how to decorate. We have a Bay Max room on the Destiny What would you recommend? And she's she th sent pictures of their Christmas cruise last year and it was reefs on all their doors. They had gone to Walmart or Target or something and gotten the gingerbread fragrances to put behind the thing so it smelled like gingerbread in the room or in the hallway right there. The captain had come down to look at their stuff. They had lights going. I mean, it's all this stuff. And it was decorating the walls and like I said, their doors. So Disney has said you need no more no more walls. You can you gotta stick to your door. You know, no I don't I think it was like wall ceilings and ⁓ sticky stuff, magnets only. Magnets only. 'Cause a lot of people hang stuff all over the walls and the doors and everything. Sealing. And I I I will miss it. Let me say like I get it. It you when you're walking down a corridor corridor of rooms and doors that look all the same, when you put your room to make it like, okay, I see it, I know where it is, I can easily get in now. Or even for young kids, it's like our door looks like this. Mm-hmm. I get it. And it it brings a little bit more. But I also get Disney's standpoint of, hey, you're you are overdoing it. They can't make noise or lights or sounds or anything like that anymore, which I feel like like I don't allow my kids to put like tape or sticky stuff on our walls because I don't want to pull out you know And like how people have stuff like in the picture stuck in the ceiling. I feel like if you wouldn't do it in your house, then like don't do because that's what they're saying is like they don't even allow the over the door organizers anymore because it scratches the door frame and the doors. So like I get what they're trying to say is like, look, we can't repaint and do all these doors every year or every month, or you know, to keep ⁓ looking nice for the next group to come in and tear up again. So and the noise thing was apparently a lot of complaints from other people on the ship, like it would keep them up if your Mickey laughed every time somebody walked by or and I definitely get that 'cause if I pay for a cruise and I've got to listen to your ha ha every time somebody walked by or something, I might throw someone overboard. Your Mickey might be overboard next time you come back. Some other things that have been taken away, the selfie sticks and handheld extension poles and tripods are permitted on board, but they may be used in most areas if Folded or under and under 18 inches, longer items mostly stored in the stateroom and only used ashore. I'm surprised they let that because in Disney World you're not allowed selfie sticks and stuff. Right. But that's because people were getting off the, you know, on roller roller coasters and rides and having selfie sticks all the way expanded, and that's not how they're tested. For all of us, the I I guess that's a bad thing really, but they've changed the alcohol policy too. So guess twenty one ⁓ maybe. Bring aboard either one unopened bottle of wine or champagne or six beers up to twelve ounces each at embarkation. The all alcohol must be packed on the carry in carry on luggage. And then the dining room cork corkage fee is now twenty versus twenty nine dollars. ⁓ and then as usual, beer wine and beer purchase at ports of call will be held until the end of your voyage. That's down if I remember right. You used to be able to bring two bottles of wine or twelve. We brought ten somebody brought two that came with us in March, so It went down one. Yeah. So that's kinda like I get that too. You know, Disney wants to sell their alcohol. You know, we're And it's I feel like it's more of a family cruise. Like I don't feel like two bottles of wine is too much. Like you said, your friends and family because you know, two people can go through a bottle of wine and not be drunk because that's only two glasses each, really. But if you have a family like loading up cases of beer and things like that, you know, I feel like that's not the you're on the wrong kind of cruise. Right. You need to go on you need to go on carnival. You go carnival to in a party. version, something like that where it's little bit more so the timing of this, it started June third, which was yesterday as I I was recording this. And it that was for Fant Disney Fantasy. The adventure is June fourth along with the magic. June fifth was the Disney Wish. June sixth is the treasure and the destiny. June eighth is the dream and wonder. So that's that's some big stuff from Disney cruise line. We'll go to to Hollywood Studios again to the Monsters Land. They they announced actually today we we had written I had given Micah all the notes and she puts an outside nice outline out for us, so I had to go in and add this. But Mon the Monstropolis Horn came out with their edition, which is Monsters University, Monsters Inc. The New Land, that's their newspaper. But they have announced that the land new land is going to take place during Human Day, and it's a acronym, which stands for Humans Understand Monsters Are Nice Day. And this is where humans and monsters will be able to observe each other and get to know each other because they're no longer scaring humans, they're making them laugh. So this is how we all get to know each other. The one day a year in Monstropolis when humans you're lucky enough to go in and there. I'm getting kind of excited. I know it took my mu my beloved Muppets. But I'm I'm getting a little bit more excited for it as they release stuff in and out. And especially after seeing what they've done with Monst ⁓ the Muppets Roller Coaster and with ⁓ animation courtyard. Really excited to see how they they do this. I like how it's like they gave you a reason because in Monstropolis they're not humans. Humans don't go there. So like I I like how they gave a reason why now Monstropolis is full of humans. Like it's human day. So that's why we're allowed there. Yes. Well, we knew of one 'cause it was in the in the art, which is the Japanese ⁓ Harry House. Yeah, Harry House or however you say it. It's only the one. But they ⁓ they said the Glob Theater, which is the old Muppet Theater. There should be another one. The video I watched from Alicia Stella and Park Stop said that the she had been on a tour recently and Pizza Rizzo's old building still looks like they're keeping the kitchen. So it's like it's still gonna be a quick service. So whether it's gonna be pizza or something else. I say how funny would it be if they kept the pizza? Because everyone notoriously talked about how terrible the pizza risot pizza was. Well even that's how the planet pizza. I say how funny would it be if they kept the pizza place in the same pizza so people would just have the same pizza to complain about all time? I am all for it. I w I ate that pizza because it was I would end up walking around over there and be hungry and it's like I'll eat anything right now. Well, bad pizza still. Good. Yeah, I'm saying. It's kind of like college days when cold pizza was the best pizza when you woke up. Or the cheapest pizza that would deliver to your apartment was the best pizza, you know. It didn't matter. We still know opening date though on on Monstropolis and Monsters Land, whatever we're gonna call it, whatever they're gonna call it. ⁓ like I said, I'm I'm excited. The coaster looks fine. They're slowly starting to release stuff. On a side note, I saw a picture from Popcorn America's. I didn't know they had built the show building for Encante. All right, so this weekend when I rode Everest, it's huge. The building is giant. I was I ⁓ I've mentioned him before Bio Reconstruct on Twitter and Facebook, Instagram. He does all the helicopter pictures and I was looking at stuff he pit posted this weekend and I was like, Holy crud, where did that come from? Yeah. No, we were going like up the hill on Everest and I looked over and I like, ⁓ my gosh, that's the that's gonna be like the ride building for the Encanto ride. Like that's really big. Then the rumor is that that's opening late next year. So like Monsters would probably open in phases 'cause they could open up the courtyard first and then the coaster later. But like Encanto will open ne late next year as their big push to get people to come in. In the fall. We had cranes and everything out there. Like we didn't go to that part of Animal Kingdom at all. We didn't go near where Tropical America's is going to be. You didn't take pictures of the signs? I didn't. We ⁓ we were on a strict timeline. I was gonna say you were on a a time budget. We were. Last bit of pretty big news, it ⁓ pretty controversial news in the Disney community at least. Carousol Progress will be closing July sixth. For a new for a new look with a reopening sometime next year in twenty twenty seven. We knew they were going to put a new act one in with Walt introducing the show in his older years. If you remember out in Disneyland, they had put Walt in front of the or in the ⁓ Lincoln Theater where he's a young person younger version of himself talking about his his ideas. So this is the older, closer to progress like the Epcot special, Walt. And they had alluded to putting in a newer future scene, but now we've got confirmation they are actually redoing the whole show. First before we talk about the d the acts, what are y'all thoughts? Just on carousel progress in general. On on the whole thing, the the redo of it. We'll get into like I said, we'll get into the acts. What are your thoughts of the fact that they're going to close the whole thing, redo the whole thing? I'm glad it needs to be done. Yeah. I'm not a purist and I think it it does it's the seating And things like that. Even if you don't update the show. The seating, it had a smell in there. The seating needs updating. Like it just You got it needed something. Like you were kinda going back like nineteen ninety three when you went in there, it felt like. Yeah. Which was Tomorrow in Tomorrowland of all places, like you were actually going back in time. I think nine like early nineties was when it was last redone. So it's yeah, you're pretty dead on. So the The themes, the acts are act one will be the sixties and it's gonna be the World's Fair, which is fitting because this is where the you know Carousel Progress was debuted at the nineteen sixty four World's Fair. So this is going to be the in the summer of sixty nine. Our carousel family, along with millions around the world, gather around the TV to witness one of the humans greatest achievements, and it's the moon landing. So we'll have all that encapsulated. Then we've all went to Woodstock. Yes. Is that what we're gonna focus on? Peace, love, and rock and roll. Wasn't that the thing? I don't know. I have no idea. I know the doors were supposed to play and they didn't. But that was also a Hendrix big national thing. Yeah. ⁓ we'll move to the 80s and this will be taking place Halloween night. Sarah will be taking the center sage for the first time ever for this one. Uncle Orville Orville will also be in this one. And he's gonna say his ⁓ famous line of no privacy around here. Act three is the new millennium, so this is what We are in now, but this is gonna be nineteen ninety nine's New Year's Eve, the Y two K scare, which is great. And then the last act is gonna be the possible future. Like for y how many years have we been asking for carousel to get the attention it needs to br be brought up? And then everyone It's gonna go from being a walk on to people actually waiting to get on it. Yes. Everybody Everybody was like, We can't redo the whole show like this. We don't want this. Well, you can't have your cake and eat it too. You have to it needs to be updated. Yeah, there was a sh one year when the dad's hand fell off, like in the middle of the show, you know, this I was a speaker that fell. So the fact that we're getting a full new res show is great. The best thing because the entire future scene is basically like what we have now with our like And worse and Alexa and all of those things, like where it's getting it to turn the oven on and all these things. Like we have all of that. Like we need we need it to actually be like what could happen in the future. Right. So it's like I don't even have to speak, it's just turning stuff on. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ The best thing about the whole thing is that we will still get a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow, which is one of my favorite Sherman Brothers songs. And to tie it into the episode, that's the that's the song me and my wife walked back down the aisle to. And my mother in law was like, That sounds like such a cartoony song. Why are y'all like carnival or cartoony? I can't remember, but she did not like it. I was like, Listen to the words, lady. Like it's a great song to be walking down the aisle to. For the first time as husband and wife. Well, but that's supposed to be like a more fun, joyous song coming back. That's the same. You get to choose for your w I mean you could technically choose them all for your wedding, but that's the one like you get to like like like that's your dance into the right the future song. That's like a very perfect Disney song to be in a wedding. Speaking of weddings, that's gonna do it for news. We're gonna take a quick break and when we come back from this, we are going to talk to Heather about You forgot Taylor Swift. ⁓ that's not in our show notes. That's right, tying it into Toy Story. I forgot. So I buzz. Hello. And the hard hands. Because we talked about H H N, I guess we have to talk about this 'cause Terry would kill me and she almost did. Taylor Swift posted like a countdown on her website. What day was it? Like Tuesday? I'm not sure exact the exact. It was on her website for like a whopping 30 minutes or something before like it got taken down and everyone knew what it was with the Toy Story clouds. But she's been posting the clouds lately and the billboards have gone up with T S and like the Toy Story outline, but it's like a Taylor Swift font. Like the best I mean, I laughed out loud when I read this sometime one time because someone says she's like jigsaw in a blonde wig because that's how she is when she's announcing things. And that's what makes it so much. She also wore a white and blue striped dress that's the colors of of Toy Story with a yellow purse, which was the color of the Pixar ball. Like she's throwing these little Easter eggs out there for people to grab. And everyone grabbed them and knew that she had to be part of the Toy Story Five. It's not she might be a character. Right. But she's not. To the Toys for Clouds. She had track five. Andrew Andy was born. I didn't know that. Yes, Andy was born in nineteen eighty nine. I mean, looks obviously unplanned because they went by his age from the the first movie. Right. Right. But like Every fifth song, I think it's every song five on her album, she went through and capitalized every T and every S in the lyrics where she had posted, you the her official YouTube page and all that stuff has the lyrics. Okay. I wanna let's she's doing a song. She's doing a song and it's called I Knew It, I Knew You. It comes out of y'all hear it, it comes it comes out RBA. I have scoured the interwebs for a leak. I did not go in the dark web because A, I really don't know where to find that. I wouldn't even know where to look. ⁓ and B, I didn't want to get any virus or any, you know, FBI at my door. It's not that important. But everyone thinks that it's gonna be a Jesse centric song because the two albums that she's re like the two records she's released, one it looks like the top of Jesse's hat. It's the red with the white stitching, and the other is a sheriff's star. Let me say this right quick, because if have you all watched the latest trailer? Like it came out a couple. I think so. I don't know if it's the latest. I mean, I've seen trailers. I don't know which is the latest. I think it was when the s tickets went on sale, so it was a couple weeks ago. The trailer, you really get the feeling that this movie is more about Jesse because she is going through exactly what she did in Toy Story Three or two, where she's telling that story of how she lost her owner. I can't remember her name off the top of my head, and how she's having to relive this because she's losing bonds. to yes because Andy gave the toys to Bonnie and now Lilypad or no it's not Lilypad because Lily Pad that's the official name. Is that Lilypad? Leap Frog is the brand name. Leap Frog's the real one, Lilypad. Lilypad is the antagonist villain in the that is actually not the villain. There's another villain in the movie, but Lilypad is not necessarily helping so much. I was gonna say 'cause I mean, you can just picture this movie where she's gonna throw these toys down and pick up that lily pad and just run and sit in a corner on her bed somewhere and just stare at a screen and all the toys I feel like are gonna be like, Hello, you know. Which I'm really I really like this concept because A to be the fifth installment of a series, you've got to have a real strong storyline, I feel like. And I don't think they would have brought it back if they 'cause Toy Story Four was not my favorite. No. Yeah. So if it was anything like that, I would be really disappointed. But I do like how they're tackling the whole kids just wanna be on screens these days. I think they're really targeting us millennial parents of like our children being the the digital kids that are more I'm sure and stuff. Yeah. And now this one's coming out and my one of my sons is eleven and one of my sons is nine. So it's literally a generation that has gone by being raised by and they love all the originals. And we're gonna go see this one. And I think you're right. I think it's gonna be a two for storyline where they're gonna watch it for the kids and we're gonna get an over meaning, you know, an overall meaning from it. We've mentioned it in the past. I really think with Toy Story it needs to be a ⁓ They need to think about the stories. It d one, two, and three came out right pretty close to each other. Four there was a good little gap. Five, there's enough gap. But I think that this needs to be really figured out why do we need to make a Toy Story movie now? I will make a book not bold predic prediction because it's it's Toy Story and it's Taylor Swift. I really think that opening weekend's gonna be like crazy numbers. Like Marvel weekend numbers, hundred million weekend. My only thing is don't I'm probably gonna make somebody mad. I don't care. Taylor Swift fans don't need to make this a Taylor Swift thing. This isn't a Taylor Swift thing. This is a toy. I think it is because she's she's done songs like for seven or eight other movies and hasn't overta and I mean they were like Hunger Games and Fifty Shades of Grey and like those prods or whatever. Those aren't Toy Story. Those aren't Disney laid in for her so hard for promotion on this for this, like to act like they let her do all what she did. I think they gave her the reins and they said you do this a lot better than we do. Have at it. Here you go. Like, hey, we've had a lot of things tank in the box office lately. We need you to help us with this and get the hype out there. Let's get your Swifties in there because most of them are millennials who she reaches the mom target. Like me, Mike Micah's not really a Taylor Swift fan, but the age bracket is there. She's not someone you're gonna be like, ew, gross, I'm not gonna go see that movie. Because you know, some artists are like that. You're like, I don't wanna support that artist. Toy Story is a movie that can resonate without an artist. Like Yes. No matter Tim Allen, look at him, Buzz Lightyear. He's been through so much in the ringer when it comes to politics and his beliefs and all that stuff. People didn't stop to go see Buzz Lightyear stuff and the t the actual toy story Buzz Lightyear. He literally went to jail. He went to prison for smuggling coke. I mean, and like you said, it now he's gotten into politics and that no one has said this because of Tim Allen. And then ⁓ Joan Coo Cusack, who's the voice of Jesse, she stopped. being an actress. Like I didn't know that. Like ten years ago, fifteen years ago, something like that. And she came back just for this movie. So Toy Story, I think it resonates higher than what Taylor does. That's the only reason I say I don't want Taylor fans to make this about Taylor for the movie. I don't think that's gonna happen. I think they'll take their kids. I think Disney wants it because they know at the end of the day and see this is like the last year, maybe next year's l like in two years of the last year. I can't remember. But for ABC to have the Oscars. They know they put Taylor Swift in this as the s as the ⁓ new song, original song. She gets Oscar nominated. The Oscars broadcast is going to go through the roof because they're going to say, Taylor, come perform this song that you're Oscar nominated for. And then when you win the Oscar, all your Swifties are going to go out and, you know, post about it and 'cause she doesn't have one of those. No, she doesn't. But she does she ha the only thing she would have after that. Here's the random knowledge I know of Taylor Swift, and I just found this out the other day. She already has a Grammy, obviously. Yep. Lots. She has an Emmy. Yep, she does. So th if she got an Oscar, she'd be a a Tony away from an E got. And her music she she tried, I think, when she did Cat. ⁓ God. That was the motion picture. ⁓ Tony is straight Broadway. So her music and her story pretty much lends itself to a Broadway musical at some point, whether it's a jukebox or whatever. The heiress to worm Broadway musical? Yeah, there you go. Well, Taylor Swift, she's getting married. Probably not in Disney. Terry probably wants to be there. So when we come back from this commercial break, we're going to talk about Disney weddings. Minus Taylor Swift. We'll be back. Are you dreaming of your next adventure, but overwhelmed by planning? Mention our podcast to be connected with one of our agents you were listening to. And we're back. I've ⁓ I've mentioned in the past how ⁓ my v my Wife's first trip to Walt Disney World was the trip I actually proposed to her in Cinderella Castle for ⁓ at the Royal Table. We we ended up looking at Disney weddings for potential. And we saw the price tag and how many people we'd want to have versus how many people were allowed to ha we'd have for our our chosen group, and it was like, no, we we can't do that. Because we'd leave people out. Heather, her daughter got married. It at Walt Disney World. So we're gonna ask a few things, let her tell us about the experience that that they had when planning this. It is to note that ⁓ as travel agents, we do not plan the wedding. That is all Disney, but we we can get you the hotels and all that stuff. So that's ⁓ that's the little caveat is Disney take care takes takes care of the wedding itself and all the planning, all that stuff. You d talk directly to Disney rooms. We can do. We will be glad to do that. So Heather, first and foremost, you don't have to tell prices. You can say ouch. Or you can say, you know, whatever. But You can say whatever you want. It's what was what was the whole thing for? Like obviously it was for a wedding. But like where did she get married? What was the what was her whole shebang? What all did y'all do? Did y'all have characters? Did y'all do any special rides or anything like that? Yes, we did. Okay. So it was it wasn't bad. Priced, but we we managed to windle down the guest list. That's why how we got it like that. We only invited family and really good friends. So we windled it down pretty small. We got she got married at the Grand Floridian at the wedding pavilion. When she got married. My brother's a preacher, so he he did the ceremony for us, so we didn't have to pay for that. Okay, so in the waiting pavilion you could pick out flowers, you can pick out, you know, your bouquet, anything like that. And they would give you like you have well, first you had to put down like a certain amount. I think the basic you put down now is like fifteen thousand or something like that. And you have to put that mountain down, but then you have to look for a venue and some of the venues are like eight thousand. Some are seven thousand, some are six thousand. It just some of the options for venues. The options are they have ⁓ at the hotels. I know they have ⁓ at the Grand Floridian, the co ⁓ Coronada. I know there's some more. There's one at Boardwalk when you're coming around. It's that big, that nice big what right next to the the lake. I can't remember what it's called, but it's across from Cake Bake. Mm-hmm. Yes, they have that. They also have ⁓ in the the parks. Epcot has ⁓ in in a lot of the different countries where you can get married. They have I'm trying to think where else. They have them Naturally. You've seen the pictures of of in advertisements for Disney fairy tale weddings when they do the the shows. You can get front of the castle. You know. Now that is expensive. Easily thousand dollars just to just to do the the the wedding. That doesn't include like the flowers or anything like I remember looking at that one just being like, yeah, it's crazy. And it it's like super early in the morning before opening. You have to go before opening or after closing. ⁓ huh. Gotcha. And it's very that's the most expensive one is in Magic Kingdom. I can imagine. Yeah. So was ⁓ when y'all were looking at venues, was the Was it always going to be the chapel or was there other ones that y'all kind of considered? We looked at like some in Epcot, but then it came down to that one was covered and if it rained, we were good. So speaking of rain, do they do they let you have an option of rain? Like so if you said, Okay, I want to get married in in Italy, is there a a weather plan? I don't know 'cause we didn't get married in one of those, but I'm sure they do have a plan. It's like a last minute plan. Mm-hmm. Yes. To take you inside like maybe the building. But a lot of times they set up like on the outside. Right. Mm-hmm. So So you said it was up because the venue that y'all chose, the chapel, the wedding pavilion, you could choose your flowers and stuff like that. Was that already included in that venue? Because I know in some venues, like we talked about Magic Kingdom, that is an extra charge because you're gonna have to have more or something like that. But you pay like you you do like ⁓ it's not a package, it's like a starting amount, say fifteen thousand. Mm-hmm. And you pick your wedding venue that's eight thousand. So you still got six what, five? Saving more thousands. Okay. So you're taking from the fifteen thousand every time you're a la carte. Right. You pick what you want that's that's good for you, and you just kind of pick what you want out of it. Now once you get to your total, which we did that, and we went over. Seems very easy to go over. And she went over because she did the ⁓ the carriage ride. After they got married, they got on the carriage ride and rode it all the way around ⁓ Grand Floridian. It was really nice. That and pictures and in the parks was two big chunks that she really wanted. So we were like, Okay. Well the pictures do last forever. Unlike flowers and I tried to talk her out of I tried to talk her out of one of those and she was like, No, I want those but I'm so glad she did because it just made it more Yeah, flowers and food. Pictures last forever. So if you're gonna put a big chunk of money in something, it's a good thing to do. And they're beautiful. Yeah, you can't see it so much in our background, ⁓ for those who watch. I'll make it probably the thumbnail for the episode so you can see it. And unfortunately it'll be black and white, but it's a beautiful picture of her gorgeous. Her daughter and son in law in front of the teacups. And I I will say with we had this when I when we got engaged. The service was called signature photography or something like that that Disney had, which now would kind of be the photo pass memory maker moment thing they have, but it's not with photo pass. These are legit photographers. I'm not saying those those guys aren't talented on Main Street, but these guys is what they did. They were trained on another level. They had a crew with them. And ⁓ they they followed you around, they take great pictures. We have Like I said, we have an alb album of this from our engagement because I paid I think it wasn't horrible. I think it paid like ⁓ nine hundred for it. And it was an hour in Epcot and it was before World Showcase opened. So it was just perfect. This picture, the pictures you've sh you put in here, these are amazing pictures. And I think I'm jealous of anybody with the pictures inside of Ma Magic. The pictures were the most amazing thing. And I'm so glad she talked me out. I'm so glad she talked me into letting her do that. I thought, why do you want to pay that much for pictures? And then I see them and I'm like, whoa. What so with the pictures, was this the same day as the wedding? Like, did she get all dolled up? No. So when you when you do a fairy tale wedding, you get a planner. And the planner walks you through every step. They picked out her food for her reception. They picked out her cake. She went up there like three or four months in advance to pick the foods that she wants, to pick the cake flavors, to pick what day they wanted to do pictures, which they did pictures like I think the next day after the wedding. So she had to get up and get dressed again. She could have done it before the wedding, but she didn't want him to see her. So she they waited to the day after. Makes sense. And they have to go in two in the morning. Two or three in the morning. I was gonna ask with either night what time. They were there for probably four hours. Because they went to Magic Kingdom and did a whole bunch of pictures. Then they went to Epcot and did a whole bunch of pictures. She got to pick two two parks. That's really cool. I thought it was just one park when you did that. No, it was two parks. And when was this? When did she get married? She got married in twenty twenty one in November. So it wasn't even hot. Like it I mean it was Orlando hot, but But it was warm. It was warm there. At least it wasn't July. And it's also cheaper if you like do it during the week. During the daytime. 'Cause I think her wedding was around three o'clock, two or three o'clock. Then we had ⁓ like cakes and wine and stuff afterwards right there outside of Grand Floridian for about an hour. And then they took it hauled us off on a bus, took us over to Animal Kingdom, and that's where we had we got to ride Flight of Passage. He rode Flight of Passage in her wedding dress. Wow. That's cool. And we went from there to ⁓ what was it? Tamu Tamu or whatever. You know what I'm talking about? That little area. They had it set up as a dance floor and a big buffet. Her reception was in Animal Kingdom. We just made Micah Micah's so jealous now. That's a that's her favorite part. So we were right in front of the tree of life. I would have everything done in Animal Kingdom. We were walking in as all the guests were leaving for the night 'cause about six o'clock they were shutting it down. And we were all going we got busted. Mm-hmm. I've been there. I've been leaving and I've seen a wedding party come in. Stayed by three hours in there. So you you have to pay like was that was Part of the package too, right? Where you paid for the Yeah, that was part of the add-ons and subtract or you know, you just had to pick which parts were more important. Okay. Once again, you don't have to say price, but with flight of passage, if you want to say how much it was, I I would be fine because I am curious. I won't lie. But would you say it was worth worth the money you spent to have the ride to yourselves? It was cheaper than the pictures. That's why I was trying to get rid of the Wow. Did you only get to ride it one time? Yeah, we only got to ride it once. Rachel, when you listen to this, the agency we don't need married. We don't need a marriage thing. If it's cheaper to get a a ride for one ride for the whole agency than it is to get pictures in Magic Kingdom. Maybe you just get us a ride on flight of passage at the next Walt Disney World AEP. You know, just Heather, I'm gonna need to see some pictures from this Animal Kingdom park. I have the pictures, but I just was trying to get some without faces. Yeah, no, I mean outside of recording, I would love to see pictures. I can send you and also they sent us a digital of all the pictures. So we have everything forever. Yeah, we And then if we wanted to buy their pictures, like they did the big ones that you hang on the walls. I actually bought two or three of ⁓ so they're hanging in my house. And gosh, I don't even want to know what you spent on those. Jeez. Well, and the one that I have hanging in the house is of her and her husband. It's in the wedding chapel. You can see I'm looking at you can see the castle behind her head, in between her head, and then our whole family was standing around her. That's so gross. Yeah. You said reception was into ⁓ Animal Kingdom. Did you did you happen to have any of the characters show up or anything like that? No, we didn't do that. We could have paid more for that, but we didn't. I've I've I've heard I've heard the price for the For the characters and that and how strict they are on those. I actually had a I mentioned on the podcast before I had clients that asked if they can get one of the Mickey Mouse to bring a birthday cake to their room. And I'm like, What on earth? So Yeah. It's it's I saw that. But but to put it to you this way, you know those big barns that you can rent and then you have to get the cater and all this stuff. We were gonna rent one of those. It was cheaper for the whole Disney wedding than it was to rent one of those. That's ridiculous. I would also say probably that instead of going through the hassle of finding the right caterer that fits your your taste and they they took care of everything. Right. Do you know from top to bottom. They had three or four people sitting there with us telling us where to go, what to do next. You're gonna go here now. I mean they had it. It's a well mailed machine. They know what they're doing. And like all of her bridal glam, like hair, makeup, getting dressed and everything, Disney provided all that stuff too. We had a room and a big bathroom. Yeah. Okay. It was actually like a it wasn't like a room room. It was just it was not like a battle suite that they had. Right. It was like that. Yeah. It was pretty neat. Let's talk about accommodations for a second then. Okay. I know they give you a little bit of a discount, right? Because you're bringing family in. It's a it's a considered a group rate in a lot of cases, right? Well, that's if you put the way th we were done, if you put it all in with the package, you could have put all the people's in with the package, but we didn't want to pay for a base price. And you didn't want to have to deal with people sending you Vimo or anything like that to pay for their rent Right. And plus I think 'cause we paid for everybody's meal and it was like I can't remember what it was back then, maybe a hundred and sixty a head. Yeah. That's pretty standard. What it was. Yeah. And so that's why we dn dwindled it down to just family and just really, really, really good friends. So did they they chose your family and friends? They just chose where they w wanted to to stay, or did y'all say we're gonna stay at X resort? ⁓ we all decided like a lot of us stayed off Disney property. Like in bigger houses or yeah. I cannot remember the name of the place, but it was like this big resort that was off property. And then she put her honeymoon room in with the package. So it would be go ahead and paid for. So they did that. Was that the Grand Floridian as well? No, she didn't want stay there. She wanted to stay at the animal kingdom and watch the animals. This is Micah's wedding. Micah, you got you got married basically. ⁓ I love this. So that's where they stayed was over there. But yeah, so all of us had gotten all our rooms separate. But yeah, that's where you could group ⁓ all together and just get everybody's at once. Easier to stay at Disney now that I think back at it. But for some reason Some people didn't want to, so we all stayed out. Yeah. It's probably, you know, a little like the cheapness of it, being able to stay off site because you're like if you're like in houses with multiple rooms and there's families that stay together. And that's why we had like four bedroom places and they were all kind of close to each other. So did ⁓ did did she do a bachelor and he'd do a bachelor bachelorette and a bachelor party while they were down there to cor incorporate with all this? Or did they just want to do the wedding? No, they got engaged there though. Then they got married there. Then every time she had a child she's got three boys now. It was like boom, boom, boom. So she had three little boys. And every within six months she's had every one of her kids at Disney taking pictures. Well yeah. It's crazy. My my son was born in twenty twenty. So when we went, my wife was very pregnant in September and she had to wear a mask. But we have a picture in front the castle with no one behind her. Like she is standing at the entrance of the castle, not like off the hub, with no one behind her and just the castle. And that was like that's the only thing she wanted when she was pregnant. It's because we have now we did her maternity pictures down there too. But yeah. It was pretty neat though. I really enjoyed how the planner brought them down. It was probably like three months before, just to make sure everything they wanted. And they got to pick out every food we had, everything. So it was really neat how they did it. That's included. In that like the that three month out, four month out planning session, her room or anything like that, is that included or is that something that she y'all had to pay? No, she she got the room, but what they set up like the tasting and all that so she got to go around and taste different things, taste all the cake flavors, pick which everything she wanted. Did her cake do that light up thing to Happily After or whatever where it does like the little light show on the cake? Projection map. Yeah. That cake did light up. But I can't re I have videos of it. I'll have to find them. I really married again. I read That Topper was that topper is actually white chocolate. It doesn't look like it's white chocolate. And it's still in my deep freezer. And that I mean that Top layer looks like it's wrapped in satin. Yeah. Like that's how it's white topics. It was crazy. And now that you tell me that's an animal kingdom, I like I feel like I know where that wall is and that big open area through there in Animal Kingdom, that's where it was. They had made a dance floor, they had a guy up there so karaoke. It's the the safari entrance is right there behind everything. It's the the stage where the band plays during the day. You have Esther House on your left and yes. ⁓ I love it. It was so ink. Now her dress and everything. Did she got any help with that or no? She bought that in Nashville. Gotcha. Was it like? You know, they have a di they had Disney dress. I don't know if they did when you're Yeah, she didn't like those. She liked the one she got and it looked she they were never pretty she went for more of a Cinderella look and I thought it turned out perfect. My wife that was her that was her big purchase because we couldn't do a Disney wedding. She had she had Cinderella shoes, like from the Disney Bridal, and then she had a a Cinderella dress from Disney Bridal. Wow. Did she have a big bridal party or did she just have like one or two attendants? So that's a good thing. And her flowers, were they like did they choose them by like like price wise? Like you could have a thousand dollars worth of flowers, or did she say like you could have roses or you could have peonies or you could have anything you want. So they all she she chose the the petals, the flower petals going down the aisle. That's really pretty. And her okay and his boot near and then some for us, the parents, all had one. That was pretty much I mean, she didn't do go all out on flowers. That's it's gonna say that's I I've never understood why people put fifty thousand dollars to flowers at weddings. Same yeah, it's just it's never made Mine were artificial at my wedding and they like looked real and then we had ⁓ made My bouquet I kept, but everything else, the bridesmaids, they didn't know what to do with theirs. My mom took ⁓ back and like she had floral arrangements made for her house with them. And she still has them. I mean look in in that one picture I sent of the chapel, you can see where they put the rose petals all the way down the that's a really pretty chapel. I mean like the ceiling with the beamwork and that chandelier and then like the colors are like the walls look a little bluish gray. I don't know if they are and like the pews. It's not like stark white. You know, it looks real soft and elegant and just the carpet going down the middle is really pretty. And I can see that window back there where you could see the cat is that where the castle behind them? It's really pretty. I remember was this before or after they did the refurb of the 'cause I they did a refurb recently on the wedding pavilion. ⁓ don't know. I mean I I don't know either. I just I remember them saying I haven't been in there since then, so Damn you. Here's the funny thing about that that window. You remember for the twenty fifth anniversary what they did to the castle? With the pink cake. Yeah. Imagine all the windows. Getting married and that's your background. Yeah. So they had a lot of angry rides and and couples and whatnot because they when they booked their wedding, you know, you have to book these things like a year or so in advance to really start getting stuff planning from my understanding. 'Cause we did I did look at surprising my wife with a vow renewal for our ten year and doing well I can tell you they had they just put some they just I looked it up earlier and they have ⁓ on sale right now for next year from July first to August thirty first. If you get married between that window, it's fifty percent off. Wow. And then you get twenty percent off of the carriage ride. Yeah. That's still off. I s I saw it I saw it this morning. So it overall it's a very like we're always in awe when we go to Grand Floridian and we see any of the brides 'cause it's always Yeah. Any then don't take this the wrong any bride's gonna be a beautiful bride. ⁓ they're the happiest day of their life. It might be the third or fourth happiest day of their life, it's depending on how many marriages they're on. Or kids, you know. They're they're always always glowing when they're in that carriage. And then it's just just that Disney magic. Walking being able to see that. I have been to a lot of weddings and just I'm not saying this because it was my daughter's wedding. It was my favorite wedding I have ever been to. Yeah. It was so fun. I feel like it would be hard to top that I know to get married there. Right. Mm-hmm. Hey, single people. Taylor. Taylor, if you're listening to you can go you can go up as high as you want, price, or you can keep It down really well. You can get married. I mean you can do it for fifteen if if you can get the few people in there you want, you know. If you look at it the and you start pri like you can see some how much these people pay for the castle and then they do fireworks on top of it and all that. Those people are spending, you know, six figures at the least. Anytime you had fireworks, good gracious. And then you have Mickey and Minnie coming in to dance with you during the reception. You know, yeah, this th they can get outrageous. I don't have that type of money. I'm not ever going to be able to say, Okay, let's do this. And if if I ever ran into that ⁓ type of money, I'd get vowels renewed and then yell are all I think we kept ours under twenty five people. That's really cool. And that's a good made it affordable. Yeah. And that's where we ran into the wall was that between our families we have more than twenty five and we couldn't justify saying who do we need to not invite? Well, she only invited immediate family. on both sides and then a couple of her really, really good friends. Right. Yeah. I'd rather take the friends and some of the immediate family, let's be honest. Exactly. Well, it was no aunts, no uncles. I mean nothing like that came. So ⁓ And they kinda got you know, you get your feelings hurt, but Right. We couldn't that's when you come home and you have like a little party afterwards saying hey Yeah, what a party and everybody can come have a good time. Is she your only daughter? Huh? Is she your only daughter? No, I have four girls and a boy. ⁓ so you've paid for a lot of weddings, or you're gonna pay for a lot of weddings. I have ⁓ about a hundred cousins in all their belonging. Could you imagine asking them? That's exactly like we had two hundred people at my wedding. And that's exactly why I have the same kind of family. Where it everybody gets pissed off if you don't invite them, so you have to invite everybody if you invite one. So I know exactly what he's talking about. I know. The ⁓ yeah. It sounds like it was a really good ⁓ experience and it's something completely jealo like I was jealous beforehand knowing that there was there and I if I remember right, Rachel said that Britney in the agency, she had she had a Disney wedding as well and she had some haunted mansion to it. I might be wrong on that. So Brittany You can get married at Haunted Mansion. Right. So I and we just go for the pictures. I'll be honest, to get pictures throughout the park with in your dress with no one else there. I don't really care about the rest of it. I would go for the pictures. That's what Bethany had asked for. That's why I looked into the vow renewal was because all she wants is pictures in her wedding dress in front of the castle. Like, well Yeah. The cheapest way to probably do that is a vow renewal and actually just take some of her friends down there, do that junk, and then go to get our pictures taken. So it it might be on the horizon. I don't know. Don't even take the friends. Just just take a a weekend away, you and her alone. Or during the week, 'cause she said it was cheaper during the week. Yeah. Yeah, so very jealous of all this and and as a guy that just shows up to the wedding, like being in a park after hours is amazing in and of itself. Yeah.
